The thing is that different studios make different Godzilla movies. I think it’s possible for a shin Godzilla 2 but it works well as a stand alone movie.

If there was a sequel it would ruin the whole concept of the coagulation plan and them finding his dna map and negate any development of the first movie. there's not much to even expand on goromaki, we already know with almost complete certainty he's atleast in some way shape or form a part of godzilla due to what it implicates throughout the movie, (opening of the tail when yaguchi mentions goromaki being a strange person) so there is no need for expansion of goromakis side of things since we know he hates people especially the Americans and the Japanese government for preventing his research of the organism being released and for the death of his wife due to radiation related sickness respectively. there's nothing else to expand upon, the ending is solely up to your own interpretation of what is to happen next. It is the same narrative perspective as minus one.

Shin is the strongest. The defeat is temporary and his body literally adapts to everything. They said in 2-4 years is when he will reawaken and that it will give them enough time to make more coagulant IF his body hasn't already adapted to it then the next batch would have less of an effect or none. Also, as far as the other godzillas evolution goes, I doubt he would be able to adapt to the coagulant if so it would probably take a lot longer

I can also attest that the color of light found in a nuclear reactor is blue, not purple. Shin's breath never has a geiger counter nor visible radiation damage on the humans in his immediate area. That should rule out him creating radiation that could be lethal. Abilities should have gone to Shin for sure, that guy could flatten an entire city with a single atomic attack and they are adaptive...Mouth, dorsals, tail. The only weakness Shin has is that he has to recharge after using all of its energy. And, Shin evolves so, he'd evolve a way to defeat the legendary version if he had time to evolve.

You have to destroy every cell in shins body, and out of his body too if he loses any flesh or bodily fluids. Godzilla would have to literally atomize shin godzilla. He’s not entirely featless. It’s just that his feats aren’t as good as Legendary. For example, one of his greatest feats would be setting a whole city to ablaze with that fire thing. Another feat, one about his evolution, is where he evolved to shoot beams out of his dorsals to protect his blind spot after having it bombed on by jets.

Shin is the strongest. The defeat is temporary and his body literally adapts to everything. They said in 2-4 years is when he will reawaken and that it will give them enough time to make more coagulant IF his body hasn't already adapted to it then the next batch would have less of an effect or none. Also, as far as the other godzillas evolution goes, I doubt he would be able to adapt to the coagulant if so it would probably take a lot longer

I can also attest that the color of light found in a nuclear reactor is blue, not purple. I'm not saying this to make you feel foolish or anything, that would be impolite, I am only presenting my knowledge as someone who has been around nuclear power facilities on a few occasions. Shin's breath never has a geiger counter nor visible radiation damage on the humans in his immediate area. That should rule out him creating radiation that could be lethal. Same can be observed with Legendary.

These two things aren't even close. However, considering GvK absorbed a nuke before it could damage him, Shin's breath would just make him stronger. Even if it couldn't be absorbed, he can just ignore it.
Oh and also I'm seeing a lot of people thinking it would do damage on the basis that “Godzilla isn't impervious”. Well, neither is stainless steel but good luck causing any damage to it with a water pistol. That's the magnitude of the difference we're talking here. One cuts buildings, the other cuts planets. Legendary godzilla has shown he can take hits a lot harder than Shin, tanking nuclear bombs to the face and being dropped from 55,000 ft of the ground kinda shows his durability is pretty insane. This is kinda of a game of whether or not Shin can evolve faster than legendary can kill him

I understand that his stats are mid but Shins ultimate ability is adaptability. He will always continuously evolve to stand up to what he fighting, and I'm sure it needed he could evolve rather quickly. This is suggested by one Scene in Shin where he stands up and begins to learn how to be on land with out gills and even growing a small set of arms. He is capable of evolving quite fast.

Legendary Godzilla is just too well rounded. G-man has very good mobility, armored like a tank, his atomic breath takes barely any charge time if he wants, and he’s pretty smart.
But shin Godzilla is literally an immortal, constantly evolving entity, it has functional plot armor
@@dig4587 overall he’s probably stronger but if it’s his 4th form vs Legendary I think Legendary would fuck him up. As powerful as Shin’s AB is it takes forever to charge in which time the G-man would be up in his face.

Shin Godzilla is literally 10,000 steps behind being strong enough to compete. If literally every other iteration of Godzilla wants to, they kill him. His evolution, no matter how much you make up being 'instantaneous' still doesn't close the gap between a Godzilla that got not hurt, but CRITICALLY INJURED by human military weaponry. He loses to everyone. Any ideas of "He'll evolve to be stronger" is fanfiction cuz his limits are shown, and they're far below even an early Showa Godzilla's attack potency. Let alone his abysmal speed.
