My sister had a Boston for 15 years until he died. He was the sweetest, most adorable dog. Friendly, happy, playful right up to the end. Very protective of my nephews when they were born. I’ve never owned a dog but I always enjoyed being with him.

I am not allowed a dog but I maybe allowed to get one after I've done my GCSE exams in 2 years time, my mom's not a fan of dogs in general, except dachshunds (sausage dogs) but I would ideally like a dog that I can take on longer walks with my friends and their dogs. Maybe a Labrador or a king Charles spaniel. I'm just worried about the size as we have no experience and my mom probably won't allow a dog as big as a Labrador. What small ish breeds do you recommend to first time owners thst don't shed or drool too much and aren't very smelly. Ik it's alot and that's why I'm researching now, so I'm well educated for when I get the dog
A whippet is a good breed, also! Sight-hounds and Spitz-types, like a Pomeranian, do not have a doggy smell! Beagles are great dogs, but will have some doggy smell! Easy to bath! Another good breed is a Rat Terrier! Very playful and affectionate!
My Boston MUST sleep with me but not just at night but in the day, afternoon when sun is going right at the chouch he wants to be at the sun and when he is he fall asleep and he loves it and if I am at the chouch he alvays sleep or literilly at me or by me

Cavalier King Charles is a great choice! Just the right size, affectionate, trainable, etc!
Thanks for your advice however I just love the fluffiness and floppy ears of the king Charles spaniel
