For people interested on this map, your progress is saved pretty well. You just have to load the line of the txt file saved and later use "-start load" to get your gear back. The 500gold paladin bonus is to motivate people to play new maps over again and help new people out. On that video he didnt finished main quest. He had more main quest events left.
I love these rpg maps. You can tell the creator put their heart n soul into them. Only thing is they're so long and complicated no one ever plays them after a awhile
The issue with this map is he setup all this crafting and resource collection and it’s all pointless because it’s faster to just mass wheat until you have enough to make 50-100 gold without losing crop then you just buy the completed resources needed for making armor for a map like Gaia’s retaliation ORPG there’s decent progression
@@chilwil07 mining is also crazy good when you clear bottom left town. craft your own bs and just pam mine while you craft bars then those 10g bars, do that for 10 min and you have 300g:P
If you ever play this again, the easiest start is to do the quest for the Mayor of the town you start in. All you have to do is walk to a mine northwest of town (no enemies on the way), then walk back and you get 2 free pickaxes. From there, you can go back to the mine and easily mine all the iron you'll ever need (if you start with an empty inventory, you can load up 40 iron ore -> 20 iron bars in a single trip, which takes around 3 or 4 minutes). You can have full iron gear before the first zombie attack, which should save you a lot of effort.

The map is really cool! It reminds me of Jungle Trolls and i will for sure download and play it. Wtii you inspire me in a way. I really like your work and your style, but mostly i like you for playing this particular game and sharing the moments with us.
It hurts that he learns something in the game and then completely forgets it in the next moment... When he was in the mine, he "couldn't put down" his tent and campfire, but that was because he tried to do it from his extra inventory and not from his actual character inventory... So if he had put it on the character instead of the backpack, it would have worked...
Or how he wants to buy wheat, keeps buying flour, scans every item in the shop too see which one is wheat and the only item he doesnt look at is THE WHEAT. Guess it's time to go east and see if we can find some wheat there lol
The worst thing was when he didn't realise the south village was destroyed and wasted gold on upgrading it. It's not like there was blight all over the place and every NPC missing, right ?
"heal doesnt even get me to full hp" *loses 1/3 of max hp per enemy attack who is ranged whilst doing no damage and doesnt run away* "where are the heals?" nice
The darksteel upgrade didn't work the first time because you didn't have the helmet in your inventory. The second time, after you took off the helmet, it of course worked.
Reached 'The Birthday Party Quest' but didn't catch the floating dialogue when Gordon was speaking. The quest description only has Flour, Egg and Sugar. It's obviously cut and I believe there are two more ingredients. I'm sure Milk is one of them, but I have no idea what the last one is. Help!
The only thing I would do to make this map slightly better is add more stacking, like for the wood and higher stacks with the iron, and add a pack horse/miner.

korneyy not sure if you follow it but he’s going to rework the save and loot drop system so instead of fixed drops with fixed stats monsters will drop randomized things like in Diablo
There's no plan currently for this but I'm glad you enjoyed it, there are other RPG style custom game videos in the Custom Game Playlist though that you may be able to find to fill a craving

there's -save/-load in this game so if you and your mate want to go off you can -save your personal data

all you had to do was to follow the damn road cj, you would do the quests in perfect order that way
