If you're referring to the BBS FI-Rs on your F87 M2 Comp, they are releasing the updated FI-R Evo soon for the G8X series which will be kgs lighter and markedly stiffer/stronger than these non-forged wheels. You may pay more than double the price new for new, but when it comes time to sell, you get most of your money back due to reputation, scarcity and top notch BBS flagship quality. It's like buying a steel Rolex Submariner. Money in the bank. Very liquid.
I do like that Edelweiss are very up front about where and how these are made. These are solid value and feature ideal fitment for the G8X M3/4 series. Everyone imitates the original BBS Y spoke design just like the Rolex Submariner is the most copied watch on Earth. Money in the bank.

Edelweiss is known worldwide for quality and, above all, service. Resale value also depends on other factors, but that's not necessarily what you're looking at when you make a purchase. I'm glad that Edelweiss exists and that you don't have to pay for such overpriced rims there.
A watch only shows the time, whether Rolex or "just" the €500 watch.

Run the risk of damaging wheels way more than a watch so don't go banking on getting 'most' of your $$ back

No, not at all. Gave it a try, the last 2 Videos (Wheels, Exhaust), together with our Partners, as it is a little bit more spontaneous and less staged :)
