Dread Fugitive Mind's without a shadow of a doubt one of the best songs from Megadeth. I remember I heard it for the first time in 2001, 'til today it still surprises me. The solo by Al Pitrelli is insane, fantastic, with a unique feeling, and one of the best solos from Megadeth alongside Tornado of Souls. Al Pitrelli had a short but left his mark.

This is what a celestial orchestra would sound like here on earth. First word that comes to mind is. Outstanding!

Saw the show for our first time ever in SLC , December 2022. It was awesome! But I'm like everyone else, "O Holy Night" and "Sarajevo" ("Carol of the Bells") were my absolute favorites. They could have played those two for the whole concert and it would have been ok with me! Outstanding!!🤩

So stoked to see a video from this concert! Was my first time seeing them live and like many others, I waited with my ticket for a year. Was totally worth it! They're awesome and this is my favorite of all their songs, with about 25 or 30 close seconds, lol! =D

Love this! I remember seeing them after Christmas in Newark, NJ a few years ago. It was glorious. If Jesus came into music and not a stable this would totally be the Gospel. Rock on Dru. Thanks for posting.

I’ll give the nod to Al over Joel on this one.

And Al co wrote this song and basically wrote the guitar music arrangement for it

@@tritontransport I’ve tried to learn it on my Les Paul…he makes it sound simple but it’s not. The bending of notes via string bends and slides up and down to make it fluid, and getting it right is not easy.

@@tritontransportHe did that with all the TSO music or almost all of it. He is absolutely a gifted musician and song writer.

@@robertsole9970He is so good and unless you’re a guitarist you can easily miss it. He is my guitar teacher and his ability always blows my mind. He is so big on using the guitar to tell a story instead of shredding all over the neck, and this man can shred with the best of them and beat many. He really locks in on what you noticed. The small things that make playing so dynamic and musical.
