Quite the Showman, Mr Pitrelli, I played this a couple times at church, went over very well, your sustain goes on forever, fantastic rig, God Bless. I think I will go out on my back porch, [in Fla] play it to the neighbors.

Really good, but I prefer Joel Hoekstra. He plays with a passion and seems to enjoy it and puts show and doesn’t just go though the motions. Still a great player though.

For all you up and coming guitarists; notice how when he's playing below the 12th fret, he is on the bridge pickup, and changes to the neck pickup about the 12th fret. That gives a nice "singing" sound, and not brittle. I learned this trick over 20 years ago from Steve Morse (formerly Dixie Dregs, currently Deep Purple). It's not really a trick, but a nice tool to use.

Very nice video work. You were certainly able to zoom in nice and close. I would have thought they would not allow such a big camera into the show--they must not be as strict as some artists about photography of their concerts. I was at the same show in Portland, but not nearly as close. Fantastic concert--I'm already looking forward to next year!

I'm sorry Mary but if you listen to both their vibrates , Chris being a self taught street player has a much better technique and tone. Yes Al is a fine player but he'd probably agree with me. We all have our strengths but the band being Al's band, he calls the shots on who plays with them. Chris is a fabulous guitarist with natural ability. Al is a better composer for certain. But pound for pound, Chis has a significant edge. That's all I was saying. I've been a professional guitarist for 47 years and my ear tells me a lot about technique and vibrato.
