Endes up ordering a 16L MCB due to the laptop sleeve. If the heritage would have had it I would have spring for the extra cost. But we will see for future editions. Love the video

Another great video. You forgot to add the bullet Kaidan. What do you think are the main differences between a Goruck wax canvas bag and a TAD wax canvas bag. I’m asking because I can’t decide between getting a GR2 Heritage or a TAD Fast Pack EDC design. I’m leaning towards the GR2 because of the leather reimbursement underneath, but I love the TAD design. In the grand scheme of things,not too important, but I appreciate and trust your opinion. Thanks
Hey Jorge! Thanks for watching. I tried to limit this to the regularly available versions (which I hope the Heritage continues). But YES, the Kaidan is awesome and has that TOP POCKET...so nice. As for the waxed canvas comparison you'll have to wait a bit longer. I ordered two EDCs and one of them is the waxed canvas version. When it arrives I'll certainly be doing that comparison. I like your logic though, the leather details from GORUCK make it really nice. I also have a Heritage video planned, which I mention in the video that will include the GR2 26L Heritage which I just got...its awesome by the way. More coming soon!
I’m in Business Dev/Consulting. Would you wait for the Heritage Bullet to come with the laptop section ? I love the look of this bag but need a professional EDC that can safely handle a small laptop through planes, trains and automobiles. Thank you sir!
tough call. I don’t have any inside look to say whether that will happen, but I really hope they do! The current Heritage bullet (especially in black when it gets realeased). You can make these work with a laptop sleeve.
@@JBOutside1 I am torn between this and the Tumi, alpha bravo, which, of course is purpose built for the business person but I just think this heritage bag is so cool and I love waxed cotton and also love Redwing as I have their heritage boots. It’s really a tough call lol!. But thanks for your reviews. They are really great.
I've packed with a heritage bullet several times and plan to do more. The regular 15L bullet is still the best because it doesn't have a leather bottom. The Heritage is packable for sure but that leather bottom makes it a little "less" packable. Still works though.

@@anas7hamed I don't think it needs it. Looks very nice the way it is personally. Not sure what color of webbing is available and they don't do leather side handles as far as I know. On the Field Tan color you can get away with Coyote webbing. When I added handles to my GR1 I only did it because I was already sending it in for the shoulder strap webbing.
@JBOutside1 I have the gr1 21l with the 1000d all around, is the heritage less abrasive on the straps and back? And hopefully.more breathable? I'm digging the hidden access zipper on the heritage kinda eyeballing the x pac but it seems like you really like the heritage I wonder if it's a more premium product than the gr1 in 1000d overall
@@noctilucent7396 definitely more premium. It’s a feel thing. Between the heritage and XPAC is just a personal choice. Waxed canvas is less abrasive for sure but not any more breathable.
I wish they offered better color options… the slate is nice, but looks like they had a bunch of random colored material and stuck it all together… why not just black? 😢
Yeah, it can be conflicting. I don't typically carry a laptop in that size so the "classic" styles are sufficient and without that frame sheet are WAY more comfortable.

The slate colorway looks awesome, but im hoping they release the bullet in heritage Navy, the Navy is my fav among their waxed canvas colors

Absolutely. Without a frame sheet it’s a great option for that.

Coming soon. I love the slate. Olive really doesn’t do it for me. I’m not sure when these would be restocked. Nearly impossible to tell these days.

I don’t have any from the latest drop but I’m 99.999999% sure it doesn’t. And I don’t think they ever will.
