I love how the robot is out there taking selfies.
I'm overwhelmed and humbled by your well wishes and messages of support. It really means so much. It has been a tough year for me. I know that you all absolutely love Mars, and I'm working on more content as we speak. Now that my health is on the up, I will be posting weekly updates from Mars. In the meantime, I've set up a Patreon page as quite a few of you have asked how you can support the channel. All patrons are truly appreciated and your names will be featured in all videos going forwards. Here's the page:

Truly; thanks, ElderFox.
Glad to hear your doing better I remember around a few years ago when you made documentary’s about Opportunity’s journey on mars you have come such a long way on your own journey ☺️😊 EDLER FOX RULES
Really sorry to hear that but glad that you're all-healthy now. Also glad that you will upload regularly 😄.Wish you best health.
Happy to see you back. Can't wait for more content !!!
awesome. thanks for the hard work. much appreciated.
Are the minerals being analized?
I bought a very large HD television screen for a few reasons, and watching HD space documentaries was one of them. This here film is some serious eye-candy. Great narration as well. Thank you for uploading!
Now that’s what I call cool 😎

I detected conclusive evidence of past aquatic life on Mars viewing a perseverance Rover scan of the surface of Mars but NASA is not interested. Why?
Your videos are the best summaries of these Mars missions I have ever seen, and a great service to us all -- thank you!
Wow, thank you!
Hey Rocky Where The Water Go Any One Know ……
I second this. Such an amazing channel, so glad it exists
The Unbelieveable Journey and great narration. Thank you ElderFox.
Indeed
I stopped watching a video on Kerbal Space Program 2 when I saw this in my notification feed. Super excited ❤
I am SO SO HAPPY YOU UPLOADED THIS/MADE THIS!! I’ve been waiting for a straightforward documentary about Curiosity’s journey across Mars for FOREVER!! And this is just perfect! So much information and love the excitement.
This is a hellava thing you put together, man. Chronological, ultra detailed, primarily sourced. This had to take a lot of research and input. People like you put multi-million dollar media companies to absolute shame
Hope you'll upload more frequently now.
We already started polluting mars with plastic even before we got there 😂😂
I was thinking the exact same thing!!! Also I think it's insane to think of people actually living on Mars. Why would we do this?
@@reneesimerale people living continiously on mars that's still far from our reach , its a possible senario we maybe can do it , but its realy unlikely and its gonna be challenging and as Elon musk said people are gonna die on mars , so we should figure out how to protect them , I think first mission to mars will be just quick visits we're not gonna settle there not in 21 or 22 or 23 century
Living conditions would b to cold
I've always said the same! 😂😂
@@reneesimerale people have been exagerating on mars colonasation and underestimating the challenges
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen in my 70 years. Thank goodness for a very pleasant human voice - I'm too old to appreciate a computer generated voice. Your script is easy to follow and the descriptions of each picture isn't overly technical for us lay people. It was fun to follow the progress on the map screens, which look very similar to maps generated by my phone GPS when I go for a walk. Looking forward to watching your other creations!!!
Did you watch documentries in diapers in your bassenett?
@@jockoharpo2622Heck no, electricity hadn't been invented yet.

That LIGHT over the horizon is a TACO BELL sign. 👍👍
This is one of the best videos about Mars that I have ever seen. Absolutely wonderful
It's amazing what they are achieved, go out into space, get out of the house...and see amazing things that have never been seen by humanity. We will colonize and upgrade truly great life - forming planets
When I have kids I'm gonna show them videos like this to get them interested in space cause you do a wonderful job at presenting information
I’m glad he took a selfie as proves he was there . Way to go Rover
That's so sad. I could watch curiosity all day. I want nothing more than to see video footage of Aliens finding curiosity on Mars, feeling bad, and fixing its wheels and putting it back online. Maybe even giving an upgrade, then of course a selfie. I hope we go back, take me with!
I love the Curiosity rover! I can't help but personify it. Its kind of cute, like Wall-E's big brother.
I absolutely love this! Thank you for your time in development and posting of this great work of art and scientific research and studies! I am a subscriber now. I was referred to your channel after seeing the shuttle launch years ago, then the JWT, then this video! May God bless you and everyone else who watches this video! This video will outlive every single individual who is currently watching this due to its history content even more important than getting a video of a story of old! It's just wow!
I love the idea of the rover celebrating by taking a selfie, very cute.
Sure the rover loves taking selfies😂😂😂🤳
Can't stop wars, but can go to Mars. Great job people of Earth.
Nice to see Sky blue skies on mars . As opposed to the red tinted pictures from the past.
Totally awesome seeing rover analyzing capabilities characteristics. I have supported this mission from its insertions on Mars.
Best story ever.
Best images are with blue sky.
Fascinating.
Never knew I needed a mars Rover taking selfies in my life
That's one narcissistic rover huh?
Curiosity is an amazing piece of technology, a hero, a legend. All involved should be highly proud of what they achieved, and still are, here's to another 3802 sols.
This is incredible.
I'm sending this to all my friends.
I have loved all documentary about space and the planets like mars . it all started in 5 grade when a man from nasa came to are school back 1966 i was hooked and will never forget that day the rovers are amazing the fact that we can build them and land them on mars is just mind blowing to me . l hope i live long enough to see the first man to land on mars that would be awesome . thanks . maine .
What a journey. One of the greatest We've ever made.
Thank You for documenting it 🤝
Can I ask a question? If we are incapable of going back to the moon how did we get to mars?
Blimey, I'm not sure I've got a good answer to be honest
It's awesome to have someone who puts all the news into a video everyone can understand.
Listening while sleeping, Best sleep I have ever got. This is my new favourite channel.
Riveting video. Thank You.
Our step on to Mars has just begun. This will seem quaint someday.
Let's put it that way. Mankind's knowledge of Mars bars is far greater than having a close look at planet Mars, put aside the travel part.
How lucky I am living at the time I am able to see this.
Completely compelling , superb documentary. I loved the narration and quiet, ambient music. Thank you.
Welcome back ElderFox.
Jesus its being ten years already Amazing
Thank you elder fox! You give some of the best pics and knowledge of mars around!
What happened to the red sky? The red atmospheric conditions we used to see? Now Mars has blue sky? Bring on the trolls and the red sky.
Its awesome knowing this is from another world
It is a very good detailed Film of Mars. I enjoyed it watching, Thanks a lot...
Elder fox is back my friends, we can rest.

Ok new drinking game. Every time you hear "water" or "ancient past" we drink. 😂
Lucky to stumble across such a beautiful & informative documentary… will keep up with the rest of the journey…
Thank you JPL (not NASA) for working for decades with little to no notoriety for building all of those satelites that have brought us such magic! We are forever in your debt. ❤
Excellent video/information. Well done. No blaring, volume changing music drowning out the narrator.
I enjoyed this so much. Thank you for creating it. The production value is very high, until the very end I assumed it was a repost of a Nova episode. Thanks, and all the best!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Those are some good photos of Devon Island in Canada and the Arctic Archipelago.
Thank you thank you thank you 🙏
Really enjoyed that very interesting & informative thank you again 🙏

It’s awesome to see your return my man, hope you’re recovering well
I appreciate it!
By far the greatest video I’ve seen on Mars. Awesome. TY EFD!👏👏👏
I am glad to hear you are on the mend. As a long time sub I really did start to worry. I would check the channel a few times a month hoping I just missed an upload. I even came to the page maybe 5 days before you posted your A.I short film. We do not know much about you but we all care about you. Keep up the great work and I hope we have years of content to look forward to.
Truer words have never been spoken
Fantastic pictures ,and photos, I wonder if they map and name as they go along. And how long do they expect curiosity to last, it must be so important to keep it running as long as possible. Mind blowing stuff thanks very much. Can you name a rock after me ,thanks very .much. I will have to get this on a big screen ,witching on a two inch phone isent good enough.
I ❤ your entire team's dedication. You geniuses reveal such an amazing human invention transported all that way to mars. So out of this world, literally. I love all your segments. Thank you.
absolutely mesmerised by this video. brilliant work. thankyou for this wonderful insight into the Martian surface. ❤
Absolutely fascinating!!...well produced, brilliant script and packed with the low-down on Mars, the Red Planet! In 1956. I bought the Willy Ley book, 'The Exploration of Mars', illustrated by Chesley Bonestell...since then I've followed every rover landing. Actually, Ley envisaged the first 260 day trip to Mars to be human, not realizing, perhaps, that rovers would be far cheaper ! All the Mars rovers generate a certain personification and it's sad to see them shut down; like the Viking Mission...but...they are still around, silently standing under Martian days and nights, slowly being covered by the very dust they came to examine and wander over. RIP you Rovers; job done!
Proud of my boy WALL·E he grew up to be a real trooper
This was such an awesome synopsis of Curiosity!! Loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Stay strong fox your amazing and all paths can be hard ignore the bad optimistic people be yourself and make more videos about mars in space enjoy your documentarys❤

Great job. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Great documentary. Thanks.
It's ideal for Moon landing movies😮
Perfect the full info.completly amazzonik.The best.humm!..so...great...!!!!!.....
🇬🇧 Although it was only a brief glimpse, in the very early seconds of this video, it shows the Bradbury Crater where Curiosity landed & it has a curious shape.
The outer rim of the Bradbury crater is Hexagonal shaped!!
You can just make it out for a few seconds but its definately A Hexagon.
I even think theres a double hexagonal outline of this crater
Its not so wierd when you think of the Hexagonal shape on the top or north pole of Saturn.
Bees make hexagonal cells to store honey.
Some flower stamens have hexagonal ends
While not hexagonal there is a mineral or crystal stone called
Staurite which is always
➕ shaped, its natural form.
people dont think nature can shape geometric shapes, but she does.
Anyway i doubt anyone will read this after a year but if anyone does, do they agree about the hexagonal crater where Curiosity landed!
Peace
🇬🇧👧
Thanks!
Wow thank you so much! That's truly appreciated. Thanks for watching :)
Really? Spending two pennies is too much.. The cost of this so called expedition is the tax payers money on Earth.. this is all we get for our money? Then you send $2.00 just to get a thank you.. lol There’s a fool born every minute - P.T. Barnum
Fantastic work.. thank you

This soo interesting...I really enjoyed learning about Mars. Thx😊
OMG YOUR BACK WE MISSED YOU
Edit: I didn’t see they made another video a short movie using ai I didn’t know because I hadn’t gotten a notification
Neither did I. Yt has been messing with people's notifications and subscriptions for quite sometime now.

This is truly remarkable.
Really nice to see you back. Great pictures with lovely narration 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
This rover is the most resilient robot, at one point it was all alone holding the torch of exploring mars.
The torch burned out long ago. You're a bot aren't you?
@@jockoharpo2622 nope I am not a bot.

Niceeeeeeee! I like your videos man, a lot.
No rubbish. Just a great video. Thank You and Subbed.
Thanks for the sub!
Having seen the old "MARTIAN CHRONICLES" TV miniseries I always look for the martian home cave in the rock ridges. I hope that CURIOSITY just keeps going and going and going!
It's strange PBS never released a summary of 10 year mission, watching this instead, very good !
Endless wowness 😮
Thank you 👍 The main problem is: We don't dig deep enough 😎😇
Man, gotta love your vids. Keep up the narrating 👏🏻
Yes you're finally back! I've been running out of fascinating things to watch. Pls upload the next Perseverance video soon pls
Working on it!

This is so exciting wow i love this video. Rover your so awesome ❤❤ he's incredible amazing 😊😊
I like everytime the rover take a selfie. So cute 😊
Very very thanks sir
Fantastic! Thank you so much!
I often wonder, why something like a simple sunset or sunrise isnt the first thing captured in pictures or even video. Or like a long audio from the atmosphere and sandstorm. Since its battery powered and not solar powered. Its not that much of a distance like voyager 1/2
But to be honest im always blown away by pictures from mars. Its another fucking planet, something no human has yet experienced or seen. Its like a fairytale ❤
Може ли този робот да бъде сам на далечна планета?
Трябва да се изпратят още десетина роботи, които освен изследвания, да могат да си помагат и да се ремонтират един друг, ако това се налага!😉
That sounds like a great idea!
But if metal wheels are worn out there is no way to replace it I guess? Unless sapre parts are also sent
Great video on mars.. Mars my Love
