I know that you all absolutely love Mars, and I'm working on more content as we speak. Now that my health is on the up, I will be posting weekly updates from Mars. In the meantime, I've set up a Patreon page as quite a few of you have asked how you can support the channel. All patrons are truly appreciated and your names will be featured in all videos going forwards. Here's the page:

One of the best documentaries I've ever seen in my 70 years. Thank goodness for a very pleasant human voice - I'm too old to appreciate a computer generated voice. Your script is easy to follow and the descriptions of each picture isn't overly technical for us lay people. It was fun to follow the progress on the map screens, which look very similar to maps generated by my phone GPS when I go for a walk. Looking forward to watching your other creations!!!

Absolutely fascinating!!...well produced, brilliant script and packed with the low-down on Mars, the Red Planet! In 1956. I bought the Willy Ley book, 'The Exploration of Mars', illustrated by Chesley Bonestell...since then I've followed every rover landing. Actually, Ley envisaged the first 260 day trip to Mars to be human, not realizing, perhaps, that rovers would be far cheaper ! All the Mars rovers generate a certain personification and it's sad to see them shut down; like the Viking Mission...but...they are still around, silently standing under Martian days and nights, slowly being covered by the very dust they came to examine and wander over. RIP you Rovers; job done!

🇬🇧 Although it was only a brief glimpse, in the very early seconds of this video, it shows the Bradbury Crater where Curiosity landed & it has a curious shape.
The outer rim of the Bradbury crater is Hexagonal shaped!!
You can just make it out for a few seconds but its definately A Hexagon.
I even think theres a double hexagonal outline of this crater
Its not so wierd when you think of the Hexagonal shape on the top or north pole of Saturn.
Bees make hexagonal cells to store honey.
Some flower stamens have hexagonal ends
While not hexagonal there is a mineral or crystal stone called
    Staurite which is always
    ➕ shaped, its natural form.
people dont think nature can shape geometric shapes, but she does.
Anyway i doubt anyone will read this after a year but if anyone does, do they agree about the hexagonal crater where Curiosity landed!
    Peace

Having seen the old "MARTIAN CHRONICLES" TV miniseries I always look for the martian home cave in the rock ridges. I hope that CURIOSITY just keeps going and going and going!

It's strange PBS never released a summary of 10 year mission, watching this instead, very good !

I often wonder, why something like a simple sunset or sunrise isnt the first thing captured in pictures or even video. Or like a long audio from the atmosphere and sandstorm. Since its battery powered and not solar powered. Its not that much of a distance like voyager 1/2
But to be honest im always blown away by pictures from mars. Its another fucking planet, something no human has yet experienced or seen. Its like a fairytale ❤

Може ли този робот да бъде сам на далечна планета?
Трябва да се изпратят още десетина роботи, които освен изследвания, да могат да си помагат и да се ремонтират един друг, ако това се налага!😉
