9:32 I have that boxcar! Only it's HO scale. For those not in the know, the Oregon, California, and Eastern Railway is the name of the massive HO scale model railroad at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum in Greeley, CO. I went there in April 2017, and cannot recommend it enough. Not only is it a scenic delight, it's also located next to an active Union Pacific line that sees alot of traffic.
John- Not entirely sure but one locomotive had to much speed going down the hill and couldn't stop when it needed to. Couple people from crowd helped grab on and slow it down before it hit the train in front of him.
Fly into Medford Oregon. Take Hwy.140 East towards Klamath Falls, 90 minutes. Then get on Hwy 97 North. 30 minutes north to Chiloguin Or. Turn off onto South Chiloquin Rd going west about a 1/4 mile and your there.
+Lord toofast, What is the width of your long hood? I had the craziest idea of building a CSX unit with a engine within that area driving four electrical traction motors?
This is just awesome! Thanks for sharing! Train Mountain is on my bucket list!
