Radiotvphononut was resurrecting a newer version of this around 2017 or so. This looks more worthwhile, being a tube type radio 📻. From when ya take the back off, reveals a beautiful chassis. Just be careful, in case this happens to be a series-string (hot chassis) set. Having one knob off while the radio is on, can result in a very nasty shock, if ya touch the metal shaft. Also, be mindful of the chassis, as the above implies, especially if ya must work on the radio with it plugged 🔌 in, and on. Your friend, Jeff.
Yes Patrick, this is a hot chassis, like most of the radios where the tube heaters are in series. My variac also has an isolated transformer incorporated in it. Thanks for your concern.
Very nice
Audition was the late Wooworths company's private label on their electronic goods. I'm thinking early sixties. Thanks for the good video.
Woolworths was my first job as a teenager before Interring into the Armed Forces. That's where I've seen that brand. Thanks for sharing.
That was Woolworths house brand. Nicely made set good-looking fancy for woolworths.
Thanks for sharing.
