I did know several of these facts. However, I didn’t learn them in school, but in life because I’m old. But the ones I didn’t know were awesome, and brought me several grins. Re: the alien agreement. The Well Manicured Man on the X-Files told Fox Mulder (and us) about it in 1994. Old XF nerd
Regarding free toilets: The organization responsible for legislation requiring fere toilets in California was F.L.U.S.H., AKA Free Latrines Unlimited for Suffering Humanity.
I've been wearing glasses my whole life and I wear them ALL THE TIME. When studying, playing video games, and taking a shower, I always have it on because I fear that I wouldn't see without them. But thanks to you List25 for fact #25 for telling me that because the ragged SCHOOL SYSTEM didn't tell us that. ☺️☺️☺️
Haha my mom who's like 4 ft 7 snuck in to a pay toilet in the 70s and wrote graffiti poem about carters laxatives on the stall wall and snuck out before she could be arrested 😂
Sharks are not the only creatures whose eyes are used for humans. The ostriches eye corneas are used to transplant the cornea in human eyes. Because ostriches are farmed on a large scale for their meat this practice ia far more eco friendly than killing sharks for rhe same practice. In ostrich farming every part of the ostrich is used. Whereas in killing sharks for their corneas only the fin and eyes would be used. Sharks do not have bones and are made mostly of cartilage. My mother in law had both of her eyes corneas transplanted by this method and her vision was perfect afterwards . She was in her late 80s. Thank you Ostrich. 👀
@@liquidninja04when did jigglypuff get a second evolution? Does the one in the cartoon still mark your face for falling asleep or did it stop after evolving?
"Mercy Dogs" Sounds like they are from a Video Game with the Same or Similar Purpose! And that Saudi Arabia Yoda Bit from the Textbook Mistakes had me in Stitches due to that Incident!🤣
I just love how you have a tendency to burst my bubble with your facts. Sometimes I want to cry. You and DeGrasse Tyson ruin my day sometimes. I still haven't forgiven Tyson about Pluto.
I knew number 25 firsthand as I been prescribed glasses basically my whole life but until the past few years I would barely wear them unless absolutely required or in school.
I am the same as you. I need glasses to drive and do read. I am no longer able to drive (I am pretty sick and in bed most of the time and, I am an amputee) I cannot wear mine while I am on my computer so, I barely wear them.
10:04 turtles are awesome, but they are definitely not easy to care for. They need so much attention and care, it’s not as easy as say a hamster where you just change the bedding, give it water and food, and watch it sleep. I love turtles, but owning them is a serious responsibility and requires a lot of money….
The thought of companies using mushrooms in place of Styrofoam is terrifying... I'm deathly allergic to mushrooms, so now I guess I have to be careful about everything including cups and packaging 😮😢
For 25, some people can't if their eyes are horrible. If my mom isn't wearing contacts or glasses, she's legally blind. She can only see like vague moving objects. So I think my mom might literally be as blind as a bat lol
Ok, the very first one, you can see without your glasses, no shart genius! We're not blind. Throw a ball to me, and I can see it, I could probably touch it, but I most likely am not going to catch it because it’s a fuzzy thing coming towards me at god knows what velocity! Did you know that you can poop with your pants on? That’s the same damn statement you made with your glasses nonsense! I do love this channel though. But come on dudes.
At -9.50 correction, my myopia pretty much made it impossible for me NOT to wear glasses or contacts. There was a space in front of my eyes, about one inch in depth, that I could actually focus on. Otherwise... Nada. I couldn't even see the big E at the top of the eye chart.
I order my contacts on line it's a -12. The reason I get them on line is because I'm tired of the people at the eye doctors office freaking out at how strong a prescription I need
#3 mix red, blue and green together with paint you get dirty brown ;) if you look at most printed material like newspapers, cereal boxes etc, you will see 4 coulour swatches, sometimes with the letters CMYK, this is Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, same as your printer cartridges.
Mercy dogs - Further proof that we don't deserve dogs! Hey! A thought: Steven Spielberg, here's the next mega blockbuster for you: a film accurately depicting the founding, development, and use of the mercy dogs!
What was the point of "you can see without your glasses "? Yeah, I can see without my glasses. Big fuzzy blobs. What good does that do me? You wanna go for a drive with me?
Remember at one store I had to put a quarter into the door to use it. Lately few stores in my area make you request a key for restroom even if you are shopping there. When cashier told me some would bring up the key in a few minutes.... I just went to the parking lot to pee.
I knew a turtle, or rather, a tortoise who could disappear in seconds. As long as you weren't watching, *poof!* gone until one of the neighbors brought him back
In The movie Soldier Boy (which is on TH-cam) tells the story of a 6 year old Russian boy who was the world’s youngest Soldier you should watch it with subtitles on it’s a great movie
How about 25 rare diseases or medical diagnoses that doctors are still working on cures for. My wife has an issue going on that no doctor can seem to fix.
Yes, I can see without my glasses, but it's not a good view. Lol. Now, I want to know who thought that people couldn't see at all without their glasses. I get we say "I can't see without my glasses", but it's not that we literally can't see, we just don't see CLEARLY.
Had a co worker who eas a cross word enthusiast, one day I walked by and she was stuck on a word clue whale vomit. I looked at her and said that's easy ambergris. Wrote in the answer and then she asked me how I knew the answer. When I was in grade school I had a teacher that told the class I was in all kinds of "useless " info. That how I knew about ambergris. One of my many "how the hell do you know this stuff" moments.

The Scream is painted on cardboard, yes. Most people don't know that the Mona Lisa is painted on a poplar wood panel.
I heard the Mona Lisa was painted on olive wood. It's also really small.
Its a fence for rabbits not dingoes, there is a movie called the rabbit proof fence, and its base on that fence too.
