    Fantastic livery, although the JPS looked more diabolical.
    The active suspension stuff is fascinating. I wonder if ABS was available in those days?
    Those Hondas sounded amazing.

      I could be wrong but the Benetton B193 from 1993 was the first Formula 1 car to implement ABS successfully during a GrandPrix weekend.

      Yeah that's quite cool to see in 1987! In my Yamaha part 1 video at 2 mins 40 secs you can see a Toshiba laptop advertisement from 1989 :D th-cam.com/video/WU2hcei3ZaQ/w-d-xo.html

    Great video about great car in probably the best period of F1 racing. Cars AND drivers. Awesome job,keep it up. 👍 What interests me for a long time is the story behind the 1986 Benneton BMW. I you could do that one,i would be grateful.
    Cheers!!

    Здравствуйте! Смотрю Ваш канал с авто переводом субтитров и пишу так же. Я давно увлекался ф1 86-95 годов! Раньше это было абстрактно, но открыл старую игру "ф1 99-02", где создали модификации на сезоны 86-99 годов. Я начал это богадство осваивать, но оказалось, что я ни чего не знаю про команды тех лет! И в нашем ютюбе, кроме вашего канала, тяжело найти информацию про них. Именно как у Вас- понятно, кратко, с интервью и интересным видеорядом! Спасибо за Ваше творчество, жду видео про другие команды с нетерпением! Особенно про 89-93 годы, когда было так много разных команд и коасивых болидов!

    These are Fantastic videos, thankyou. Mansell was the fastest driver during that time. He just had too much bad luck

    • @ClassicFormulaOne1
      @ClassicFormulaOne1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree Mansell should have been World champion in 1986 and 1987..such bad luck!

    • @posniknelb6114
      @posniknelb6114 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Should've been a 3 times champion. Nobody charged as hard as Mansell

      @@posniknelb6114 nobody fck up as Mansell, as well. Made mistakes in Belgium , Japan in 87. In 86 he had more reliability luck than his teammate , still lost the championship.

      @@ClassicFormulaOne1 it depends how you view it . I would say he had tremendous luck of still being in F1 despite his Lotus failures. Made silly mistakes all his career , from start to end . .But I agree he was fast.

    Ya.. no idea what was true in the minds of F1 car developers back then.. but it's logical.. I'll first see that the shift travel is reduced to almost zero and that the hands stay on the steering wheel and if that's the case then you can think about driving comfort !

    This was the end of racing and Formula One. Computer cars should get awards for winning the race, and the championship. And you could save money on those useless "drivers"...

    We can gather from this video that Nakajima was not a very good racing driver

      He could be fast in the rain but for the rest he was just there because Honda demanded he got a seat.

    They ran 660hp in race.

    • @ClassicFormulaOne1
      @ClassicFormulaOne1  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I think a bit more considering 4.0 bar boost pressure was allowed in 1987. In 1988 the boost was restricted to max 2.5 bar which limited Senna's McLaren to 600-650 bhp.

    • @posniknelb6114
      @posniknelb6114 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes in 87 they were running around 900bhp in the races.
