Naa! May be someday! Right now we stuck in greater sydney LGA or concerns lockdown... cant even move out of 5km radius! We got our new Patrol ti-l and offroad beast is not even making it on road😑
Don’t be so stressed over a tyre, expect it will probably happen. We were there in Aug and did 3 tyres on the Gibb River rd. We threw 2 away and pulled one off the rim and patched it.
about 1989 as a kid in the back of an old shortie fj45, averaged i think about 20kph due to the bad corrugations, you couldn't tow trailers on the Gibb back then
We‘ve done it twice, reduced tyre pressure to 26-28 psi and (in general) always carry two spare tyres. When towing I would put the same wheels / tyres on the (cara)van and actually carry 3 spares.
Good video guys!! I have been wanting some of them fans to go in my caravan, but there $127 to $130 dollars each here in the USA. The last campsite here in the video is about how it is here, near a river, good cooking and lots of beer! Also good flying with the drone Nugget that was good video down the river! light was just right. yall be safe!

Hey Roy, possibly!! I wonder how that would go, there aren't many girls getting the job done on TH-cam I don't think! Thanks again and catch you next week. :)
Another awesome episode, loving the addition of DIY as a segment, Hann River n Durack River look spectacular. Nothing like a secluded camp-site, a shame that there are still muppets who can't clean up after themselves, probably the 1st one's to complain if it happens to them
Thanks Sean. Totally agree they would be the first to complain too. Such a shame and the reason why some places get closed to everyone else! Fingers crossed they heard our message. 😉
Hi Chris & Sian enjoyed the vid the tyre was a bugger we use 30 psi with towball of 260kg LC200 dont bag the tyres too much it exposes the side walls if at 30 psi still bagged put a little more pressure in and keep your speed down this works for us .
We treat this road the way we normally do (and normally don't have issues) but after the puncture were told by a number of locals its a stretch of road where you break the rules and leave your tyres pumped up as its so shaley!! Can't win either way lol 😂
😂😂😂 I really did watch it and count the punches with a few pauses to catch my breath. I'm pretty sure I was close 😂😂 Cheers for an awesome trip together 🥰🤙🏼
Hi Chris and Sian, we've been watching your videos right from the start, very enjoyable thanks. We recognised your friends, Kinda Gypsies. We started watching them on TH-cam too but they haven't made many videos. Are they planning on making more? Paul & Daisy.
Hi Paul, thanks for following along much appreciated. They will make more videos but as Brad said, they are too busy having fun! 🥰🙌🏻 If you are on Instagram they are quite active on there with their content. :)
It was quite dry and a little later in the season. We didn't intend on doing it this year so our timing was off (as it is for most trips we do lol) Thanks for watching :)
Did you do Mitchell Falls? Dysdale Stationon on Kalumbra rd has petrol, water and bar. We did not do Honeymoon Bar as it was too far but we did do Mitchell Falls - our bucket list, it was amazing.
We are holding off for next lap, 95% of Kalumburu is closed so no point rating the van to pieces and not being able to access most of it. We will go back ☺️🙌🏻
Great video again. The one thing I want to know from the both of you is your opinions on the tacos you mate was cooking. Personally not sure I would have eaten it. He was very very heavy handed with the herbs and spices. So how was it? Also Sian is a keeper. Not only a Jillaroo but an Auto Electrician. Who knew
Hey John, they were actually amazing! When we cook Mexican we add similar spices and amounts. A good Mexican dish should be well flavoured and textured 😍🤤
Hi Sian, great work on the fan change overs. We get our new van in November just wondering how hard it was to find and tap into the van wire with the fan down the back of the van? I think that's what I will need to do. Any information appreciated. Cheers, Lee.
Hey Lee, thank you! :) It wasn't too hard, I took the cover off of the front of the microwave area and that exposed a lot fo the wires and I tapped into it there. Avoid orange colour conduit as that is usually 240V. I followed the wires to find one which connected to the 12V ports in the bunks and so I knew they were safe to use. When we install the next hardwired one I will cover that on our channel. :)
Thanks. Another amazing video and on our wish list if we ever get out of lockdown, at this stage can not even get out of metro Melb till November so it’s great seeing your travels 👍👍. How were the tacos 🌮 with the amount of herbs etc 😀
I'm glad we can help you travel from your sofa each week. We feel so bad for those who are still stuck in a lockdown, it must be really crappy guys 😣😣 The tacos were actually amazing, it was a similar recipe we use for our own con-carne so I had full faith 🥰🥰🥰
Well Sian, you just got better! Now you do Auto Leccy (believe it or not, my GF is a Auto Leccy! And shes hot to! Lol) so bravo champ! Chris, how lucky are we hahaha

Hi, love the videos watch every week. This has probably been asked before but I cant remember seeing it, since you have the Y62 how do you go finding PULP fuel out in the remote places or do you take octane booster for Opal fuel etc?
We just use whats available, if it is only 91, then that's what we are running. We don't use octane boosters etc and the car still runs efficiently. We were told by the dealer from the get go that using 91 & 95 is fine and we have always done it with no issues at all.
Home valley $$ wow the aboriginals take over and double the price..dam wonder why they never got a liquor licence hhmm..i could imagine the prices on that
Love watching every weekend. Awesome
Thanks Brentan 😊
Another excellent episode, Sian and Chris! We especially love DIY with Sian! The Sirocco fan install was top notch. Thank you.
Thanks team! Appreciate the support! 😊
To save the car’s back window we have stone stompers the best you should look at them. Cheers 🍻
We have but just haven’t got one yet lol 😂 one day’
Thank you enjoyed that
Thanks Sian and Brax🤣
Haha, haven't heard the Brax comment in ages! lol
Thanks again guys. Sian your awesome 🥰
🥰🥰
You're drinking the good stuff! Love the vids!!!
😁😁
Loving the DIY by Sian, bring it on :)
Sian did an excellent job with the install! We would agree 100%!
Thanks to both of you! 😊🙌🏻
Good job on the fan install👍
Thanks Leon 😁👍🏻
Loved the episode guys.
Thanks mate 🥰🤙🏼

Great camping spots 👍 and good ol cook up 😳 I like garlic too but 😮 , but I didn’t hear any one complain 😉😝 so must have been , Yum 😋👍
It was amazing and totally not too much!! We probably all had garlic breath so no one noticed 🤪

We did the Gibb in 2017 and loved it, I loved camping alongside the Pentecost at Home Valley Station and El Questro
Its a great spot hey 🥰🙌🏻
Super video guys as usual we loved the locations. Well now Sian, DIY Channel on TH-cam next? Take care till next time....Cheers from the UK.
We loved that special DIY feature too, Sian did an awesome job installing her new Sirocco II Elite!

Hi guys
Great video !
Looks very dry on the Gibb , I guess it’s late in the season
We did it last in 2017 early in the season
Thanks

Looks like you did a tyre the exact place as us. My fault for not letting the pressure down, lazy, thought I would do it in the morning at HVS
See we let our tyres down but they say not to on this portion of road due to the shaley rock!! Cant win either way lol

Wow they have jacked their prices up, in 2017 it was heaps cheaper than El Questro. We paid $38 per night out at the Pentacost campsite
I wish!! 😮
Hi great adventure is your van a off road
Yes it is a full off road setup :)
Was wondering what economy you are getting please. Thank You
Hey Malcolm, usually between 23-25L per 100 depending on the road (bitumen, dirt, speed) and our weights (water levels, large shopping trips etc)
Thank You for the reply. Stay Safe
Think Jacks right
lol

I think the liquor licence was actually just a shortage of time before they opened!

How were the tacos?
Amazing!! Well worth having again 🥰
How come you guys didn't get black fans?
We just chose white as we have always had white. Would be strange to only change two of them to black and not the whole van??
river looks a bit merky
Which one? They all are in places!!
And the scones are crap hey
We didn't mind them actually, considering we are in the middle of nowhere, a hot scone and jam was lovely 🥰
