Yep. And the same remix was put into the hills have eyes 2, and it inspired his “klayton remix” of the same song. Notice how both versions start with the “ITS TIME TO GO!” Pretty great.
This is a masterpiece. I've been listening to Celldweller since 2009. All of Klayton's music is music that comes once in a lifetime. Keep up the good work Klayton.
I was listening through my headphones last night. I don't know who was playing (celldweller or *****) but I kept having to listen to the song, specifically so I could focus on the bass! Phenomenal sound! I probably played it 15 or 16 times!
Oh, man. I remember this from the Take It & Break It Remix Competition. OLW was Round 1 iirc. Then Frozen for Round 2? I was reviewing every submission back then. As I started to get more confident with Fruity Loops 3 and Cool Edit Pro, I considered trying a remix myself and had all the samples and tracks downloaded, but I just never did anything. I still have tons of ideas in my head for remixing Switchback using samples and vocals from the 2000 beta, 2001 beta, and 2011 Live Upon A Blackstar performance.
I personally think that blue stahli and klayton should start a new group together, if they had a concert and I could afford to do so, I'd buy all the tickets and give them away for free, because I love this music that much, plus when we stand together our ground is unshakeable ;)
Indeed. :) Remorse Code is one of Bret's older musical projects. It was a duo with another guy and it was via this remix that Klayton discovered Bret. The rest is epic history! :D
Such is the realization that has mindfucked me since the halcyon days of 2010 when I first got into Celldweller, had no idea who Blue Stahli was, and my life had yet to fall apart. Ahhh, the sweet memories this song brings
More like sun and moon. Where Bret has a more rock and metal focus with electronics in its mix, Klayton has a placed finger on his electronics. Regardless, like sun and moon, you could not have one without the other.
Normally I absolutely despise any mention of religion, but with things like Celldweller (and the whole CoD project of Klayton's beforehand) I don't give one little shit, because this is awesome.
More like sun and moon. Where Bret has a more rock and metal focus with electronics in its mix, Klayton has a placed finger on his electronics. Regardless, like sun and moon, you could not have one without the other. ... Well, you could, but it wouldn't be as cool.
He is. And actually is the Greek "living" superior god. So, Zeus + God means that the two different cult gods are equal meaning that Bret/Klay is a beyond dimensional combination that would end would as we know it.
to be honest the remorse code remix and the blue Stahli remix is the same.i think blue Stahli created remorse code remix but this one just sound a bit updated in sound detail
Kefka is a very worthy debate opponent. I realize this is a matter of opinion, but I think Live Upon a Blackstar was a rousing success, and it is a collaborative effort between them. I disagree that they "Cannot achieve any kind of synergy" because they are absolutely electric when they perform live together. But that is just my opinion. You're entitled to your own opinion, and to disagree.
Celldweller and Blue Stahli should collaborate to make an entire album together! That would be insane!
What about an entire album with Blue Stahli, Voicians, Zardonic and Paul Udarov? @_@
@@LuckasOliver22 now THATS an album that will resonate through the age
@@LuckasOliver22 that would create a shockwave whose effects would be felt backwards in time.

This was the remix that got Blue Stahli found by Celldweller and got him signed on by Celldwellers studios.
Yep. And the same remix was put into the hills have eyes 2, and it inspired his “klayton remix” of the same song. Notice how both versions start with the “ITS TIME TO GO!” Pretty great.
Blue Stahli ... and Celldweller ... TOGETHER? I think I can die happy
This was remixed by Blue, Cell had no part in it other than being the consultant for approval and the original maker of the song

I'm sorry. I just can't agree with that.

The Hills have eyes are what brought me to CellDweller to be honest.
@@clinteastwood1416 it was good to me

And this remix is how Klayton/Celldweller discovered Bret/Blue Stahl
I can bet that the song or this remix was edited in Fruity Loops - I can recognise the intro sample sounds from FL studio
This version of own little world would be perfect for dead rising 1 the gothic long haired guy psychopath I think his name was Paul?

Bret from Blue Stahli was the part of Remorse Code. He was responsible for vocals, guitars, programming and other stuff.

Anybody remember Xombie: Dead on Arrival?

this was the Remorse Code version.. is that a former Blue Stahli alter ego?

Wonder if they’ll make a 20 year edition
Didn't Remorse Code also make this remix along with Blue Stahli?
