I put my Spotify on shuffle to this running playlist and I remember vividly, Crush by Pendulum was the 2nd song to play. I never felt so hyped and angry while running when this song played. I put Crush on repeat and I went on to run 7 miles, the light drizzle hitting my skin, feeling the breeze along the coast, my adrenaline pumping, my legs burning. I ran as fast as I could. Running to this song felt like taking my power back after being abaondoned. Idk what it is, something about the combination of drum-n-bass and Rob Swire’s vocals made me feel like I can now take on anything the world can throw at me. I lost weight, I opened my heart again to meeting someone 100x better, and I have a new favorite song. I just wanted to say that this song honestly pulled me out of a really dark place in my life and has become my theme song to this day. This is a masterpiece and I will always be thankful to Pendulum and Rob Swire for this track
