SARS-CoV-2-specific T cell immunity in cases of COVID-19 and SARS, and uninfected controls (Nature, 2020)
    pubmed.ncbi.nl...
    n = 36
In all of these individuals, we found CD4 and CD8 T cells that recognized multiple regions of the N protein
Coronavirus nucleocapsid (N), structural protein that forms complexes with genomic RNA
Patients (n = 23) who recovered from SARS (SARS-CoV-1 infection)
Possess long-lasting memory T cells, reactive, 17 years after 2003
These T cells displayed robust cross-reactivity to the N protein of SARS-CoV-2
Epitope characterization of specific T cells showed the recognition of protein fragments that are conserved among animal betacoronaviruses
Persistent Cellular Immunity to SARS-CoV-2 Infection
    www.biorxiv.or...
    Introduction
Cellular and humoral immune responses to infection
Antibody responses include most of the structural proteins expressed
    by the virus
Neutralizing antibodies directed primarily to the receptor binding domain of the
    spike
Lymphopenia is a prominent feature of severe infection
During acute infection, T cells displayed a highly activated cytotoxic phenotype
Convalescent patients harbored polyfunctional SARS-CoV-2-specific T cells,
that display a stem like memory phenotype
    Cross-reactivity with seasonal/common cold coronaviruses
May be associated with a milder clinical course
    Coronaviruses, levels of persistent Immunity
Four seasonal coronaviruses, immunity 6 to 12 months
Immune response in recovered individuals, measured T cell responses
Paired samples, average of 1.3 months and 6.1 months after infection
    N = 41 individuals
    63.4% male and 36.6% female
    24-73 years old
Various disease severity, skewed to mild
Recovered individuals show persistent polyfunctional SARS-CoV-2 antigen specific memory
Could contribute to rapid recall responses
    Recovered individuals
    Enduring immune alterations and numbers
    CD4+ T cells (helpers)
    CD8+ T cells (cytotoxic)
    Summary
Broadly reactive and highly functional memory T cell responses
    Persist 6 months after infection
Enduring immune alterations in CD4+ and CD8+ T cells compartments.
Specific circulating T cell numbers goes down over 6 months
SARS-CoV-2 infection induces long-lived bone marrow plasma cells in humans
    www.nature.com...
Long lived bone marrow plasma memory cells
Convalescent individuals have a significantly lower risk of reinfection
Patients who experienced mild infections (n=77)
Spike (S) antibodies decline rapidly in the first 4 months after infection
Then more gradually over the following 7 months
Remaining detectable at least 11 months after infection
    Bone marrow aspirates, S-specific BMPCs
18 SARS-CoV-2 convalescent patients 7 to 8 months after infection
7 to 8 months after infection
5 patients 11 months after infection
7 to 8 months no S-specific plasma blasts
11 healthy subjects with no history of SARS-CoV-2 infection
We demonstrate that S-binding BMPCs are quiescent, indicating that they are part of a long-lived compartment.
Overall, we show that SARS-CoV-2 infection induces a robust antigen-specific, long-lived humoral immune response in humans.
    Immunity may persist
    www.nytimes.co...
Scott Hensley, immunologist, University of Pennsylvania
The papers are consistent with the growing body of literature that suggests that immunity elicited by infection and vaccination for SARS-CoV-2 appears to be long-lived
The reason we get infected with common coronaviruses repetitively throughout life might have much more to do with variation of these viruses rather than immunity
Michel Nussenzweig, immunologist, Rockefeller University, New York
People who were infected and get vaccinated really have a terrific response, a terrific set of antibodies, because they continue to evolve their antibodies
I expect that they will last for a long time
    Boosters doses?
    Probably for those only vaccinated
That’s the kind of thing that we will know very, very soon

Well, back with a bang! That was one of THE most interesting medical presentations I've ever seen, thank you SO much for not swerving away from getting into the technicalities of our immuniological systems. I found it both fascinating and reassuring to hear your explanations, in fact I'm sitting at my computer inwardly digesting just how amazing our evolution has been. Superb, Dr John, superb. There is one point I noted from this video particularly however, and that is your use of the word 'noble'. I would like to say that your efforts on our behalf are nothing short of noble themselves, they have all the hallmarks of selflessness and genuine compassion that make this world a better place. You are an outstanding human being, thank you for all you've done, once again. Best wishes, Charley.

You might want to listen to these Doctors...If you take the jab it takes about 4-8 months for your body to produce the spike proteins through out your body (according to the animal studies done back in 2004 & 2012 the animals were fine until they were reintroduce to the virus and at that point all the animals died due to an over immunological response ) This next flu season will tell the real story... Its my understanding the spike proteins lay dormant in every part of your body including your brain... where as covid would be limited to your throat in a healthy immune system and If it dropped to the lungs there were and are many effective drugs like ivermectin, Budesonide and Hydroxychloroquine that are highly effective in dealing with covid ..When the flu season comes around this year I believe we will have a train wreck on or hands and these same lying lier's will blame it on a variant that only has .003% difference from the original strain that has a 99.97% survival rate....The reason why CDC and WHO would not allow these drugs to be used (their story has now changed) is in order to roll out an experimental vaccine (gene therapy).. in order to rolled out an experimental vaccine There can not be any other effective methods of treatment......

Thank you for another very interesting video, Dr. John. I am Engineer and, because of you and your peers, I have developed a profound passion for the Imune System.
Consdiering the theory behind the Adaptive Imune Response, and the fact that memory lymphocytes are basically created to speed up responses for future infections, I was not really surprised with the fact that they have found B-memory cells on these patients. It is, however, fantastic that they tested it and effectively found the B-memory cells there.
And it makes sense that they were found at the Bone Marrow - which is, if I am not mistaken, where they develop. And here are my 2 questions:
    a) You mentioned that T-Cells should have also been found there. Wouldn't they be found at the Thymus?
    b) Considering that the Antigen Presenting Cells take the antigen to the lymphnodes, so that they can find the matching lymphocytes (is it just me, or there is a perfect analogy between the Adaptive Imune System and Tinder?), would it make more sense for the memory lymphocytes to be allocated there, rather than in the bone marrow?

In 1776, Dr. Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, foretold a grim scenario that has now taken shape right before our eyes. He said: *"Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution the time will come when medicine will organize itself into an undercover dictatorship. To restrict the art of healing to doctors and deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic.".* Now, after the year 2000, we are very much facing this reality, as we live in an era where our medical freedom is increasingly under attack, and "healing" has been replaced with "treating" ‘diseases’ with toxic chemicals and surgery. This drug-driven medical paradigm not only depends on the sacrifice and, some might say, torture, of animals in medical research, but also in many ways uses humans as sacrificial lambs.
First of all I say, there is no such thing as a pathogen when it comes to bacteria. Pathogen means disease causing. Bacteria never cause disease. Chemicals cause disease. The pharmaceutical industry, the chemical industry and the military industrial complex don’t want you to know that everything they produce causes cancer and disease. They call all the natural things pathogenic so you’re completely confused and stupid. Bacteria that clean up, they are janitors; they are just janitors. They eat decaying, dead and toxic tissue. Depending on how toxic the tissue is, the bacteria may not be able to eat it because it would kill them. In that case, your body creates virus which are not alive, they are just solvents that will dissolve that matter that is contaminated.

@UCmrmWDSTgP4waWLNPq367KA shame on you Tracy. Even taking this at face value this doesn’t stand up. Fact 1, at a certain point of their disease, a dementia patient cannot give or withhold informed consent as their critical faculties are impaired. The fact that they are in a nursing home suggests that they are probably at that stage. Fact 2, the quoted death rates are ludicrous. If vaccines were killing people at this rate then we would know so either this is wrong or by some odd quirk vaccines adverse events are happening at hugely higher levels in nursing homes than the elderly population at large. I’d also note the nursing home population has been one of the most impacted by covid and so is most in need of vaccination. I suggest you take your anti ax rubbish elsewhere. • @prndownload
      @prndownload 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

This is an assumption which is used by those who can't explain how the virus works eg. why an infection instance is nothing for some then deadly for others. It is used to pretend earlier variants haven't already spread in 2018/2019 and that re-infection is not occurring. It also assumes the virus isn't spreading at an extremely high rate by focusing only on detected cases and the case fatality rate. They conveniently dismiss this while on the other hand agreeing that it must be happening in order to reach the much lower infection fatality rate number. Their assumption that almost insignificant changes to the spike protein suddenly made the virus much more infectious causing new waves also makes zero sense.
Everything is explained perfectly by known virus science but because corona viruses of this nature are new to the human population the majority of medical professionals don't understand it.

Thanks. Always fascinating to have a deeper look.

The one part I fail to grasp is why someone like myself whose had Covid-19 and sits at the top percentile for health at my age still requires two vaccines and possibly a booster and however many more they require we need to be “fully vaccinated”.

Every one deserves a bit of a break! John has a family and family life, every video he does requires a lot of reading and research to produce, so we all should let him enjoy a bank holiday with a bit of generosity toward his life outside his videos. And not require an update every single day. This video was particularly good and information rich. It is certainly wonderful to have an understanding of the bodies defence mechanism.
My only negative thought about this is not a directly scientific one, this virus sustains it’s existence through finding a host to survive, in this case us. The mutations it produces are its survival strategies it is in a battle with us, albeit one we usually win! They are also trying to evolve and survive so should we worry that one of the mutations could still be a threat? After all there will always be a reasonably large pool of people who refuse the vaccine or those countries that will not get a vaccine for years thus creating an evolutionary path for the virus to occupy if it can speed up its rate of mutation & transmission, which it seems to be doing?

If you take the jab it takes about 4-8 months for your body to produce the spike proteins through out your body (according to the animal studies done back in 2004 & 2012 the animals were fine until they were reintroduce to the virus and at that point all the animals died due to an over immunological response ) This next flu season will tell the real story...
