Actually, I hadn't even thought about that 🤔 Done this quite often since and it didn't scratch the panels. Only thing that I found out is that it's necessary to deactivate the forward facing but ACTIVATE the downward facing sensors. Otherwise the drone thinks it's still in the air because of the swell and does unpredictable things.
Small rubber protection gives you friction as well, to stabilise the on/off twisting. I think there is a potential in getting the surface scratched, which is actually a disaster for the panels.
tesamoll E-Profil Gummidichtung would do the trick but I assume you don’t have much of these products around 🫣 However, a dab of Tec7 or silicon on each foot would be another way.
Landing on the panels seems like a good option. 🚁 Do you have any prevention on the feet of the drone for not scratching the panels?

@@MiQBohlin thanks for the tip! I'll add some rubber to the feet of the drone or maybe put some anti slip mat on the panels for landing.
