Depends on your area and management... I know a family friend who tried it up in Indiana, it worked okay but really wasn't worth the time and effort and additional costs on his ground, so when he traded planters he went back to conventional 30 inch rows... Seen some UNR corn in like 15 inch rows up there as well, on another farm near ground my BIL and nephew farms, and again, if it was a magic bullet, EVERYBODY would be rushing to do it... SO "your mileage may vary"...
