But even more than that, Dwight is one of the best songwriters that C&W music has ever seen, as well! To see the Living Legend Dwight Yoakam team up with the amazing voice of Carrie Underwood... it was a duet I have been long waiting for. I am praying to hear these two do some originals... or even a couple remakes... together soon! For now, it was just awesome hearing them pair up for one of Dwight's classics here and to hear their beautiful harmony together on stage!

I grew up in Massachusetts and was listening to Dwight as a teenager while my friends were listening to Godsmack and limp Bizkit, I was like a square peg in a round hole. I blasted Dwight proudly and was relentlessly made fun of for it. Thank God I moved south after HS and never looked back.
Saw him live, recently, and I'll keep going to see him. The show he puts forth is real and well supported by wonderful back-up. Wish it weren't so loud, though. My husband went to the men's room and brought back paper towels to make earplugs! Still. this man is a really great musician and fabulous performer! I'm a believer!
