Thisi is pure nostalgia. I can't even say which generation is the most nostalgic to me. They all hold a special place in my heart. That's why I keep replaying all of them.
I never played black and white but man, out of all of the games its the one that just screams high production value. Im amazed that they managed to animate every single pokemon sprite, its a shame they didn't last more than a single game.
@@nyomnyaam9856 creating new animations takes a lot of time, time which could be used on more important things and if they were to take more time on Pokemon games, I don't want a majority of that time to be taken by creating new animations for old stuff, which is what they would have to do.
I liked how powerful the moves look before. Compare earthquake before and now its insane. In Gen 9 you jus see a few broken rocks appear under the pokmeon. That seems to be the new trend for Gen 9. The move animations dont cover much of the field. Only a small spot. Or they just appear under the pokemon.

It's a huge jump towards open world, but it's still clunky.

As soon as the character models became 3d the artstyle died. BW was the best artstyle. I don't necessarily mind the Pokemon themselves being 3d, but the 2D characters just feel so much better to me.

Yeah, I think OR/AS are the last good Pokémon games. The camera change on sun and moon was the wrong turn. The more they tried to make open world games and the more the world started to look empty and devoid of details.
If only they all looked like Pokémon diamond remakes 😍 and no crystallization, dinamax or a moves. Megas is way better, they could of fixed those that did not have an evolution or the evolution sucked…🤷🏻♂️
