"Kirby" was in fact named to honour lawyer John Kirby, who defended Nintendo in 1984 when they were sued by Universal, who claimed that Donkey Kong infringed on their film King Kong. The fact that this guy could have been John is quite amusing. RIP John Kirby.

The Kirby-Library is impressiv. My first K-Game ever was Triple Deluxe and I enjoyed it, cause I felt it was made with so much care. Right now I have 5 Kirby-Games in my collection and they're all good stuff.
