I got my Minibrute 2 a few weeks ago, I'm starting to get familiar with synthesis but this demo is so good I want to pause it every 30 seconds and tweak everything for an hour on mine.

This is so helpful. I've had the MB 2 for a couple of weeks, and I've coaxed some brilliant sounds out of it, but I knew there was still alot of modulation capabilities I didn't graso. You're explanations of the patch bay helped me wrap my head around it , thanks so much. I intend to buy the rackbrute and delve into eurorack. I anticipate that this is prob a good introduction to that world.

Alex's reasoning with the Keystep is the EXACT reason I went with the 2S over the 2 and it was absolutely the right decision. 2S has a much beefier sequencer. If you don't care about sequencing (doubt you're looking at either one if you're not), then no question get the 2 with the keyboard. But it's soooooo easy to whack a Keystep in there for the 2S, and Keysteps are basically peanuts for the BEST portable eurorack key controller.

Yeah my Minibrute (original) is 2years old, never been out of my house, has maybe 10 hours of use total & doesn’t turn on anymore. Dont think ill be buying the Minibrute 2....or any other Arturia hardware. Stuff sounds great, not built too well tho. I do like the v collection 👍 sounds great when played by my heavily used, never failed me yet, komplete kontrol s49
Got my Microbrute second hand about 1 1/2 years ago and everything feels solid - stays in tune and never even once had a Problem - and I moved it quite a lot ...

Drumbrute...? Nice sequencer, SOUNDS awful.the Individual outs are fantastic for taking desperate eq measures needed to salvage bimp bomp boop into usable drum sounds.

Nord Drum 3P with external sequencer? Has physical modeling, subtractive synthesis, fm synthesis, actually a good drum synth, the only one that doesn't sound pretty shitty to me
