I think part of the reason why Rigby is so much better with girls is because he didn’t make them a priority in his life. Rather his life was his priority. Once he started widening his horizon and seeing things differently was when he started to take things seriously with Eileen. And now look how far they’ve come.

I think it's such a refreshing thing that Eileen isn't just a romantic interest for Rigby to crush on and jsut.. be oen dimensional and not much, but she actually has an impact on him, she has her own story and her own character and actively makes a change on Rigby's life and helps him improve himself, she makes him WANT to be better and do better, both for her and himself, and i am so hapy we got that with them, she's an actual character beyond "pretty lady for mc to wabt"

Oh yea she knew from the beginning that Rigby was a guy who yea was a slacker and laid back and goofy but had the potential to develop into a wonderful kind caring amazing person so she worked towards getting rigby from day one waited patiently and her time came one day
He managed to have a better life and more development thanks to her, not to mention they started dating without Rigby even trying, just being cool and normal. Unlike Mordecai
It's really interesting how their relationship developed, it gives the audience a small hint that special someone you love is the least likely person you would date
