    I love your attitude in regards to enjoying your natural hair just as it is, not being concerned with trying to achieve definition other than your natural definition. I truly need to acquire this attitude. I have noticed that the naturals that do have this attitude always have the healthiest and fastest growing hair. This make sense because there is very little manipulation of the hair. This is also apparent with you because your hair is growing really fast.

    I have never thought how hard is to keep 4c hair in good condition. I'm white, from very white country and from some time I'm watching videos about maintaining 4c hair. I don't why, just because.
    4c owners, black, half black, you are awesome. Your hair routine is hard, requires knowledge, patience and effort. You truly can be proud from your beauty.

    Your hair is looking so good. The bonnet has helped me on so many wash days.
    Just letting it be in this stage is so nice. You could try using a gel like the mielle organic honey gel after leave in conditioner (and a butter or cream during winter) to keep your curls from tangling on one another throughout the week.
    I learned that the only caution in wearing fros all the time is keeping curls stretched in large twists or or separated during sleep. When I finally did a blowout the side I slept on was so much shorter. Having gel and or butter keeps the moisture in and helps prevent snapping from friction when you sleep.
    PS that movie gave me nightmares

I was avoiding silicone so much cuz everyone's like it's so easy but then I got broke couldn't afford all the fancy shit. My hair has never been so moisturized lmfaoo I use all the stuff mostly that gives natural hair gurus coniptions. Now I just use what I like and I save so much money. okay but thank you for existing, i don’t have 4c hair but my hair is a “puffy curly” afro than anything and very thick. i grew up hating it because every other mixed girl had loose curly hair that was super soft and “white”. even tho people still tell me i got mixed girl hair i always felt left out bc of the typical look people think of when they hear mixed, i’m not that at all. they usually have light eyes and a skinny nose too. i’ve honestly never seen another girl with my same complexion that had an afro like yours.

    Another awesome video, as always! Your hair looks beautiful and healthy. I have a Hot Head microwave conditioning cap and love it because it's easy to move around the house (no cords) and there aren't any loud sounds. I also have a microwave conditioning cap that I bought off of Amazon and it works just as well. They both stay warm for about 20 minutes. I've used the hooded blow drier attachment in the past and it works too, as you demonstrated...lol. In the end it's preference. I love Camille Rose Natural products too. 🙂👍🏽❤

    I've been natural for almost 6 years now and it is the FIRST time I see someone with hair that looks REALLY similar to mine 😯 (besides the hair color, mine is more on the brown side). I personally describe my hair as 4b/4c, fine (strands), medium density and high porosity (based on its behavior and not on the test with the glass of water. I've read on JC Haven blog, that it is not scientifically accurate anyway). I see that you are not manipulating your hair too much to make your coils pop and after almost 6 years, I realized this is exactly what I should have done, because my hair is SUPER fragile 😖. Good luck on your journey!☺👍

    I couldn't agree more. When I 1st went natural at 18, I did the same. I enjoyed the afro look, then I started defining my curls with products at age 23. Now at 33 I am back to just enjoying the afro again. I am like fuck curls definition. Curl definition is like another version of a relacee. I wear my hair as is and it makes me happy.

    I love watching you go on this amazing hair journey. It’s so much bigger than just hair ❤️. Keep up the great work. You’ll find your perfect routine(s) soon enough. CR see conditioner is great. I’m also a fan of bask and bloom hair mask.i like to deep condition my type 4 hair once a week and she loves it. Also the hot head wireless heat cap is the best. Check them out.

    The only thing I've heard is to not deep condition too much or over night deep condition because it can weaken your strands. While causing more fall out and loosening of the curl pattern. But other than that its fine to deep condition every now and then.

    Why is it that when a full black woman( light or dark skinned doesn't matter) have 4c hair people thinks its nasty and nappy and unkempt
    But when a biracial girl has 4c hair
    She gets praised🤔🤔🤔

    I'm reading these comments and they are great and some are really outlandish. I like your fro. Looks healthy and thick. If you want curls or any other style-an over night roller set will do the trick. Anyway...it's not a phenomenon to see a mix raced person with "kinky" hair. Not even a phenomenon to see "fully Caucasians" with kinky hair either. Many with Italian or Jewish heritage may have 4c hair. Not the least bit strange. Just good ole genes. One of my favorite actresses- British star Juno Temple, has ultra curly hair-very tightly curled/coiled ginger locks. In it's natural state, her hair looks just like mine! LOL Sadly though I don't think her stylist or beauticians are familiar with her type of hair. They are forever trying to straighten her hair and one can tell they are really f'ing it up. Sometimes too dry and stringy. I wish I could call sister girl up and send her to Derek J in Atlanta and let him bless her head! BTW DON'T be offended by the term kinky it's just an adjective. :) More videos please

      @Whimswirl 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Madi Silver exactly a lot of Arabs and Jews have "kinky" hair. I have a few Yemeni friends with natural type 4 hair.

      @Whimswirl 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      tsuyu asui non black people with type 4 hair definitely exist. Especially those from south of Yemen and North Africa.

    • @tsuyuasui7297
      @tsuyuasui7297 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Serene Jaamac that’s why i said “3c-4a ish maybe”
      4c hair is a hair type that’s definitely only exclusive to black people, or people who have black blood in them. and i consider yemen people with darkskin black so ehhh🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @madisilver460
      @madisilver460 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@tsuyuasui7297 I'm afraid you are giving opinion and not factual information. I think you are defining "black blood" as it may pertain to whom, certain countries in Africa? Because certainly you are not considering the entire continent, there are variants to black genetics and other ethnic genomes that exclude caucasoid genes that may alter skin tones and hair textures. One could be 100% black African, non white nor Arab and have straight hair. And there are variants to 4c hair also. And being "black" is not synonymous to Africa.
