I think there is an error with your analysis, you are supposed to subtract the area (sq km) from the latest year to the oldest, it should be 2020 subtracted by 2001 to determine whether there is an increase or decrease of land cover in the different years. For example, in the E N Forest, the year 2001 has less area compared to the year 2020, therefore there is an increase of land cover within the E N forest since year 2020 has the higher area.

as i add modis data in arc my shape file got distorted because of false datum of modis data ow to fix this? as i saw your video you don't face this issue then why i have daum issue with my data?
