Thoroughly enjoyed this…I’m from the USA, but as it happens I’m somewhat familiar with the areas you were riding (especially Newport, Nevern, Fishguard, and St. David’s). Too bad you didn’t stop in Nevern…there is an interesting medieval church there with an ancient stone Celtic cross and also a famous yew tree that bleeds red sap. Regardless, it was great fun to see so many places I’d been to, plus your road video is great! Thanks for the post!

Tony M hit the nail on the head, great banter especially the comment about petrol! Bird of prey was maybe a buzzard but my choice would have been a Goshawk as they are specialist woodland hunters. Look forward to the next one.

You guys missed the best ride ever on your chosen route today. When you leave Cardigan towards Abergwaun you climb up and proceed to Eglwyswrw! Through the village on the left hand side you'll see the B4329 that will take you to Haverfordwest across the most stunning terrain and on a road that is a joy to drive! Especially on a bike! Don't miss it!

Great stuff you are doing on here Steve , keep it up. Just had a weekend away with my mate on the bikes. Leeds to Edinburgh via the A68. Stunning roads through Kielder Forest . Great weekend albeit terrible weather on the Saturday.
Cracking video and editing as always Steve. Fishguard is indeed beautiful, but I stayed there in 2018 for a long weekend and the town was thriving, sadly, this year a lot of the shops have closed, it felt like a ghost town compared to 2018....very sad. Should have had a look around the cathedral at St Davids mate... it's stunning. Just for info... if you ever return to Tenby the multistory in the centre of town is/ was 'Free' for bikes all day and it's covered by a camera.

Although, when you said 209 miles I nearly choked on my tea - that would be a 2 day trip for us at our sedate pace 😂 - interesting to see a thumbs down 🤷♂️ it makes you wonder? The amount of time and effort you put in (unpaid) to create something to entertain us and why would anyone bother to dislike it?? We always get at least 3 people who give us an automatic thumbs down no matter what the video is about 😂 ! Keep up the great work! 👍😀

Great journey, you missed the goodie harbour to irland only a mile from fishguard its beautiful there, also secon time seen you in St David's the reason it a city is because it has a cathedral, and you drove within 200yds, you could have parked there, enjoy

Another enjoyable vid Steve👍 Think you manage to capture that 'mates away on tour experience perfectly, I'm sure loads of folks can relate to similar experiences. Looking forward to the next Elan Valley episode. Carol and I scaled one of the Hydro electric reservoir dams there on our 'car' tour.(The one top gear drove a Land-rover up on a winch) Suspect the footage is destined to remain on the cutting room floor.

Yeah really strange I plotted all the routes then sent them to John's Garmin and we checked both sat navs were on the same settings YET on occasions they tried sending us on different roads. Ride safe mate.

Hi Kevin yes we are both using sena 20S com's and they work fine in the rain which we had a lot of on the journey home.
