    I've been around enough players to see certain issues pop up again and again.
    One big thing is people just not paying attention to details. They run Time Trials working on setups, but don't realize that the 25% race strategy is Mediums to Hards or Hards to Mediums. So they spend all that time practicing in TT in pristine conditions on Soft tires, with tire pressures set for those Soft tires, and then are out if their element in the race when they start on Mediums with tire pressures set for Soft tires.
    So the lesson here is just practice how you'd race. If the strategy is M->H, practice in GP on a M->H strategy and not spend all your time practicing on Soft tires.

      I think the best approach is to use TT to acclimatise to the track and get warmed up. Learn the track or jog ur memory with TT before heading into GP to practice racing since ultimately we are practicing to race not to do TT all the time so i agree with what ur saying. U need to be exposed to different scenarios, overtaking, reading the race, understanding car body language to predict other drivers intentions and how to react, etc. the actual races will always be very helpful and have helped me in real life kart racing too

    Hi, Wilson! Thanks for this video, super helpful. I'm not sure if you'll see this but when you say practice in online mode are you practicing with other people? I didn't know you could do a race online without other people in the lobby. I wish I could, the surface is definitely different than gp mode..

      Yeah practice with friends or people racing in the same league as you!

    hey wilson thanks for this video, that was super helpful. i just need one more tips, how to change a setup from tt to race? you say during the video "lower pressure and maybe a bit o wing" but can u made and example of how much wing to take off? other than this suspension and other stuff are keeped the same? i'm very blind in how to make a setup. thank you so much.

      You can almost use the same setup 4 races. You just should decrease the tyre pressure. try out in training or race to Hit round about 93-97 degree celsius on the medium. With the wings You also have to test: normally you run a bit more frontwing than rear wing. If you understeer in the race increase this gap (f.e. from 20-16 to 22-14) or decrease if you have oversteering (20-16 to 18-18). The other stuff can remain the same as in TT

    Hi Wilson! What do you suggest if im struggling with anxiety in official session. Examples: Portimao I was doing .2/.3 in Online Session, I did 16.8 in Official session. Hungary 14.9/15.0 regularly, 15.4 in official session. That mean like 10 position in high Tiers of WOR or PSGL

    • @wilsonhughes4008
      @wilsonhughes4008  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It’s tough tbh, you may not think it but a lot of top tier drivers struggle with this as well. It’s just about finding what makes you confident. A lot of it is pre race routine and getting yourself ready for the pressure

    Hi! Mega video! To practice I usually start on the race scenario to build the setup and only once I'm done I switch to quali pace, which is almost the opposite compared to what you do. Is it not efficient in your opinion?

    • @wilsonhughes4008
      @wilsonhughes4008  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It works, but I think starting in quali is good so you can directly compare you time to TT/other drivers. Just easier to compare. Also easier to make a quali setup a race setup than visa Vera.

    Brilliant vid. Would you say online is so marginal in difference to gp that gp mode is still worth it? The majority of my practice for league racing is on gp

    • @wilsonhughes4008
      @wilsonhughes4008  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely still worth it. Not a massive difference but definitely different. If it’s the only thing you can do it’s probably the best option!
