My biggest gripe is when the stores sell two pieces separately and it’s full price for each individual piece. Swimsuits don’t need to be that expensive.

Yes it's so sad that there really isn't any high fashion designers making swimsuits for plus size. Hopefully a designer sees this video and realizes the issues with size equality.

sehun's bunny I get what you are saying, but I thought that Jazz looked the best between the three you mentioned. I thought the Gucci looked cheap and nasty, especially with the name emblazoned across the front, the embroidery one didn’t look like it sat too well and in my opinion wasn’t worth the price. Jazz looked fantastic in the blue and the shape and fit was excellent, there wasn’t much too difference in the price between her mid and high end selections.
Also she got the more cheap stuff like Chloe and Nina’s were like $800-$900 and jazz’s were like $200-$300 ??

Ky An brig plus sized myself, I really enjoy torrid a swimsuits! The only bikini I’ve ever found that makes me not only feel good, but look good was from torrid. I literally love that store so much. Not only do they have plus sizes, but they go up to size 30 if I’m right. Being a 22, it’s nice going into a store and actually being able to look at things for yourself.
Her Torrid suits were basically the same price as her "expensive" suits. The Torrid ones were almost $100
Lindsey Roddy the only suit I didn’t like on her was the flower one with the frills. I just didn’t like the top. If she’s comfy, and feels confident, more power to her 💕

It speaks volumes that none of the “high end” swimsuits for Jazz were above 200$. Proves that actual high end clothing brands are not inclusive and what was available was unappealing. Frankly the torrid and internet purchased suits were far more appealing than what Jazz was given.

Don't blame the Designer brands. Plus sized swimsuits require more material to make than let's say a regular sized or smaller woman. Designer brands use expensive material and making clothing to fit people of *all sizes* without cutting corners in expenses isn't going to help the neither the consumer or the producer.

@@youssefhanna9208 24% of America's women are considered "plus size." That's a HUGE market to be totally neglecting. Even if they only came out with 2 or 3 plus size pieces, I bet they'd sell out. That isn't how you make money in business. They're elitist body shamers who force this waif model body on society and tell them that's the gold standard. Even though those same models come out years later talking about the stress, depression, eat disorders, and sometimes drug addictions it took for them to maintain the smallest body possible. Exclusion isn't profitable.
Y'all everybody talks about Lizzo being the queen of body positivity and yes we love her pushing for that but like Jazz walked so that Lizzo could run. It could be that the super high end designers like Gucci or Versace don’t make swimsuits for plus sizes, which is horrible. I wouldn’t jump to blaming the stylist necessarily.

I agree 100%. For jazzmyne her swimsuits weren’t even that “high brand” they were less than 300 dollars meanwhile the others got 600+ dollared swimsuits. Also for Nina I could tell she wasn’t comfortable in any of the “high end” swimsuits and I think that’s the most important thing that there comfortable, the “high end” swimsuits she was given didn’t feel inclusive at all. (This is just my opinion :)

They put Jazz in a size inclusive brand, size inclusivity includes stuff like 28J and similarly hard to find bra sizes, so why not give her at least one of those.

Watching for the first time in 2022 and I am livid! As a plus-size woman, I was excited to see what Jazz would wear. I was greatly disappointed that Jazz's bathing suits were clearly inferior in design than the other 2 ladies for the designer ones. I admire Jazz for thriving in a world that shows such disdain for larger bodies. You are beautiful Jazz!

I was just diagnosed as diabetic, because of my insulin resistance issues the past years I gained weight to fast and got fat for the first time in my life. I'm 182 cms tall and a size 14, I think it's HUGE, it's not a healthy size!

Okay so it literally broke my heart when I watch this Jasmine is such a beautiful woman and when they handed her a plain blue two-piece swimsuit all I can think of is Nina and Chloe have wild patterned swimsuits a Gucci one and embroidered one and then they just give Jasmine the plain blue one like she doesn't matter then they gave her dress an animal print swimsuit that you could get literally anywhere how was that fair the only one I thought was somewhat different that you don't just go literally anyway and see if was the last when she tried on
Maybe don't be so chronically obese that your health is in SERIOUS danger (which she most DEFINITELY is), and you won't have as many problems finding clothes that fit. Just a thought. Fat acceptance is literally toxic. Being overweight is one thing, but being straight up obese is something else entirely and shouldn't EVER be encouraged in any way, shape, or form. She needs to take care of herself before she puts herself in a hole in the ground (heart failure is the leading cause of non-accidental death in America). Being pro-obesity is just as toxic to society as being pro-ana. It's all an eating disorder.

As you can see in this video th-cam.com/video/LnhRcX5y6As/w-d-xo.html she overcame an eating disorder already and in other video's she has mentioned she is trying to develop a healthier relationship with food. And even though obesity shouldn't be encouraged, bigger people should be able to buy cute swimsuits. It might motivate them to actually go for a swim ;)

@Mark Sonneveld Okay, gotta call bs on your attempt at an economical argument here. Believe it or not, fat rich people do exist and would buy high end swim suits. Companies control how much of each size they produce, and produce fewer in sizes they think there's less demand for. It makes no sense for a company to lose out on even a small portion of the market, especially considering that even upper-middle class plus-size women are likely to splurge on an expensive suit they love since there is so little out there for them to buy. No, it makes no economic sense for these brands not to produce XL+ sizes, they are actually losing out on money because they don't want to make clothes for plus size people. It's really very obvious.
