Nooit iets van begrepen. Een super talent, komt in Nederland spelen. Hij vindt het ogenschijnlijk maar niks. Het is koud, de mensen liggen hem niet. Altijd maar negatief over Nederland, maar wel 5 jaar blijven. Voor het salaris hoefde je het toen in verhouding met andere clubs ook al niet te doen lijkt me. Maarja, er zijn vele (bekende) buitenlanders die geprofiteerd hebben van Nederland en er op een of andere reden geen goed woord voor over kunnen hebben.
Daarom is Hiddink een echte people’s manager hij weet hoe hij met zulke grote spelers moet om gaan. Net zoals de top prestatie met zuid Korea hij weet hoe hij de spelers moet raken. Je kan nog zo’n goede trainer zijn maar als je de spelers niet kan raken word het niks want zij moeten het doen en staan in het veld. De trainer is afhankelijk van de spelers. Mensen doen altijd moeilijk maar als ik trainer was en Romario schopt er elke wedstrijd een paar in dan zou ik hem een aangepast trainingsprogramma geven. Af en toe vrij zodat hij kan uit slapen na een nachtje door halen in een café het gaat om de wedstrijden niet om de trainingen Romario z’n taak was scoren en dat deed hij.

Af en toe vrij zodat hij kan uit slapen na een nachtje door halen in een café het gaat om de wedstrijden niet om de trainingen Romario z’n taak was scoren en dat deed hij.
