This song was released the day of my husband's funeral. He died of leukemia at the age of 35. He loved Future Islands and this feels like a special song that reflects the day that was in it. Thank you Sam and the boys for it xxx

Been crying all day and I only felt better when I listened to this song. You just need words that reminds you that yes.. this is reality but it doesn't have to be your reality.
This came out the same day I admitted to a girl, who I met abroad, that I had feelings for her. She was unlike anyone else I've ever met. It was unrequited, she admitted, but it gave me closure. I'm now trying to do more to better myself, and this song feels monumental in my life. Thank you, Future Islands for such a wonderful gift.

I know this is said often on songs, but I could literally listen to this song on repeat all day. The bass lines, Sam's gentle, pleading vocals, the synth, even the drums are always providing something interesting. I love these singles they put out, they are pretty much all great!
