I'm from SA I have the carolla sedan Xr 2.0l went to Beaufort west 480km away from Cape Town. On auto cruise 120km/h it used around 6l/100km open road .around town in eco range 7.3l/100km . Very pleased with this carolla tx
The best basic car in the entry market
It's a great fucking car.
Lovely video! Is this 2024 Corolla LE fun and easy to drive? Is there anything about the driving experience that you didn’t like?
Yes its easy to drive, i was satisfied with this car for this price range.
Gas mileage seems pretty good
I got Toyota Corolla le eco 2015 just at 77000. I llove my car, the greatest economy car, and dependable over all cars.
I didn't think the MPG would drop so quickly after 55.
Hi, what type of fuel are you using when in US? (88 , 91 , 93 us ron?)
The US market Corolla uses 87 pon petrol (91 RON). Combined with the geared CVT, it has diesel-like fuel consumption.
The first gir is a mechanic, like on se trim?
Weird that you can't get the 2.0 liter engine combined with a hybrid system, you can only get it with the dreaded belt driven CVT transmission.
is that ice cap or wind chill pearl?
looks like ice cap
Correct the description
Corrected, thanks
4:55 Have you heard the sound of cheap tin?
That interior looks cheap as hell compared to Corolla in Europe.
its the base cheapest spec, this cost around 22.000 USD / 20000 €
in germany the base spec cost around 36.000 USD / 33.000 €
so in US the highest spec level and pay only 28.000 USD
Besides; the US version gets this amazing 2.0 N/A gasoline engine while it is not available anywhere in Europe… The only thing it’s missing is a 6 MT version…
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK That 22,000 USD does not include mandatory destination fee of $1,200. When you add taxes, fees, registration etc. you end up paying 26,000 USD for base spec Corolla LE in USA. Still cheaper than Europe Corolla so I get your point
I can already hear the poor sound insulation of this vehicle :)
Just say you can't afford one dude
I can, I just don't want to spend my money on this trash
@hookjames4426 Well, to each, it's own..ones man's trash is another man's treasure. I'd take durability and dependability over style any day. Toyota is the most dependable car made. I like it.. I can't afford a Tesla, so this is my pick
No, any used lexus is way better than this in every way
@hookjames4426 And who makes Lexus???...TOYOTA... Yeah, I thought so😀
Japanese 🗑️, we need some French Muscle 😮
U look confused
go jump
clown
Ah the USA... Land of freedom... Opportunities? Yes. Freedom? Only to buy a gun, but no freedom to use the whole speedometer... That sucks!
it was in Bay Area (near San Francisco) with too much traffic, maximum 75-80 mph is possible, other places we did 85-90 mph no problem, in texas 90-100 mph no problem.
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK I don't like the hurricanes and tornadoes, but other than that, Texas is the only U.S state I'd move to.
@@CynicalBastard511unfortunately Texas has become overcrowded and expensive. I live in Dallas and a ton of people have moved here from California, NY etc. Rents and living costs and traffic have tripled
