Step#5 in Program:Learn Chinese Like a Native Speaker
    使用指导:
    Instructions for use
    For beginners:
This material can be used as a material for Mission1000. (for details at 7:56 in Lesson 7 • Lesson7.How to Llisten... )
If you have finished the Course "Learn Chinese like a Chinese" (www.youtube.co..., the whole material can be used as a material to activate Chinese listening.
Here, you learn Chinese like a native speaker in your daily life, and you need to do two things:
1st: Don't force yourself to understand every word. Obviously, there are some words or expressions you can't understand. But I will post a lot of videos where you will encounter these words or expressions in different scenarios. As you watch the different videos, you'll make connections between the various scenarios and you'll be able to understand the whole thing.
2nd: Don't force yourself to memorize the words and expressions. The same words and expressions will appear in different videos, in different scenes. All you need to do is to watch and listen to them repeatedly. If you meet them enough times, you will naturally memorize them. That's how native speakers learn Chinese.
3rd:Completely ignore the subtitles. Pretend the subtitles don't exist. Learn Chinese by ear only at the beginner's level.
If you can follow me and do the actions while watching and listening, for example when I drink water, you also make the action of drinking water. In this way, you will memorize the content faster and reach the goal of understanding Chinese faster.
    For the intermediate stage:
If you follow ChineseWei to learn Chinese, you will already be able to understand Chinese in daily life after finishing the Beginners stage. But you still need to continue to train your Chinese listening.
In the intermediate stage, you need to continue to improve your listening and at the same time practice speaking Chinese.
Speaking is learned through imitation. Speaking is never about making sentences from words and grammar. Do you need to make sentences when you speak your native language? Obviously not. You just speak out what you want to say.
So, at this stage, while watching the video over and over again, you need to repeat what you hear, the more times you read along, the better. If you can already say the next sentence before I say it, you are very close to speaking Chinese fluently.
You don't need to read the subtitles, just repeat what you hear.
Note: There are bound to be some words or expressions that you won't understand. But I'll be putting out a lot of videos where you'll come across these words or expressions in different situations. As you watch the different videos, you'll connect the various scenes and you'll be able to understand the whole thing. Not being able to understand won't stop you from imitating. When my daughter was learning to speak, she would often imitate adults saying things that she didn't understand. As she listened more and mimicked more, the words she didn't understand became fewer and fewer.
    For the advanced stage:
You are now able to understand Chinese in daily life and speak it fluently. At this stage, you should read the subtitles when watching videos in order to learn the Chinese characters.
The parts of the video that you do not understand should be solved by looking up the dictionary.
In addition, you should follow and imitate unfamiliar expressions.
