I love this. Such a natural evolution from the last albums
Vocals, guitars, rhythm section, everything about Wand is amazing. Each time I listen to the album "Laughing Matter", I discover new details that enchant me. I am never bored with this music. I hope there will be a new album soon. I'm a fan of all the ones that have been released (as well as Cory Hanson's solo albums.)
Ridiculously cool band. They have so many different ways of projection. Each time you still know it's their sound. In the industry that is known as true genius. Onion style!!
It's hard not to miss the fuzzy heavy Wand, but there's no denying that they're pretty goddamn great at making this kind of atmospheric music too. It's way better than most of the "intellectual" rock music that's popular.

This was my first introduction to wand- the whole 2019 album. Idk if I would have loved them as much as I do now if it weren't for this sound evolution. Very radioheady

this is my favourite wand song so far. i see alot of people saying they don't like the new direction, and where i understand that, this is a fantastic direction for them to go in, corey hanson is a genius. i just wish that he and ty segall would hurry up and record another project together. those two together are dynamite

Yeah...not digging this at all. I understand wanting to evolve and move in a new direction, but this is just not working for me. Some bands should just know what's good for them.

it's not like they just ignore the rest of their discography! Sure, their new sound is more pop oriented and "intellectual", but Everything up to 1000 days still exists and it's still pretty heavy. I get it that they aren't really doing the stoner metal thing anymore, but they still play some of the old tunes live!
Then listen to old wand, if this is what they feel this is what they should play. I'm glad cory is coming out of his shell.
