Same band with different show days and selling all days tickets at the same time... What's the best way to score? I wanted to use 2 accounts in two devices... Is this still a risk? Public Wifi it's not a good idea either, right? Thank you
If you’re using a phone it technically shouldn’t make a difference at that point since the mobile experience is very similar to the app. With that being said, I’d use the app just because it’s a bit cleaner and easier to navigate 😄
That’s fine but they would all need to be different accounts with unique information. If there’s any overlap then you may run into issues. Let me know how it works!

Ticketmaster has stated publicly that multiple people on the same WiFi network should not cause any issues, but I don’t trust it still lol. Would always recommend just having more devices on different networks to stay safe
Hi, I have a few questions: 1: Can I create different accounts and already have the same credit card registered on ticketmaster? 2: About the pre sale code, they send through sms, do you know if they send if the phone is a number from south america?
It does have the possibility for it to flag both accounts as the same one, so would try to use different information if you have a sibling or parent who can be used for the account info instead
Ticketmaster has updated their queue technology so now you can use the same connection for multiple queues. I wouldn’t recommend doing this all the time but one-off times should be alright. It’s better to have all your accounts logged in on the same network than one account logged into two different IPs at once. Likely to run into errors that way
Always use different accounts if you use multiple devices. You’ll run into errors if you use the same account from two different devices at the same time
quick question -- if you have a presale code, are you required to input it to enter the waiting room OR do you enter it after the walking man? bc if it's after the walking man... i can use several devices and just put in the code for whichever goes through first right?
For codes, you must enter it AFTER the walking man and you enter the ticket buying page. Your idea makes sense but it unfortunately cannot work because you must log in before joining a Verified Fan presale. If you try to open a second tab you will run into issues when trying to join the queue again, and then it may result in your first queue becoming problematic as well. Do not attempt to log into the same event more than once
@@thumbsuprun Ah, I see. so codes are assigned to the account right? If I wanted to log into all my devices with different accounts then use a certain code it wouldn't work because it's tied to a certain account?
Exactly. Only the code tied to that specific account can be used, so if there were three of you all searching at once, you’d all have needed to be verified beforehand, and then whoever got through first could use their own code to unlock the seats and complete the purchase
Thank you so much for your tips! But I have a question about multiple accounts... me and my sister both made a ticketmaster account-all different informations (phone, email, etc.) but she doesn't have her own credit card... so can I use my credit card for both accounts and do I have to put her number in billing informations then or mine? Thank you!
The easiest solution would be to just leave the billing info blank for now and then enter it upon checkout. You’ll have about 7-9 minutes on the payment checkout page so more than enough to get all the details in. You can use your credit card for both accounts, just make sure the billing address matches what you have on the credit card, don’t put your sisters name on the billing info even if you end up buying tickets through her account. Credit card needs to match the credit card holder or else you can run into problems
thumbsuprun thank you so much! You helped me a lot! 🤗 then I will wait and enter my credit card informations if we get tickets. And I got it right, I have to enter my phone number then for both billing informations.
I think that’s your best case scenario! They are being very adamant about using only one device. Only way to ‘get around it’ would be if your friends are also verified and they all try to buy tickets as well on their own. Working independently, but together. Teamwork! 🙌🏽🎟
you know how you said you will need separate accounts, separate everything, does that mean a) separate names per account and b) if you do have separate names (e.g put your brother down for one account), can you use the same credit card on both accounts or is that risky?
You can go ahead with the same billing info, but just note that in future ticket purchases just be careful in situations where you both buy tickets to the same event. Because you will have the same billing info, the two accounts combined cannot go over the ticket limits stated or else you risk having one or both orders cancelled
hi! question... if it is a presale that needs to be logged into one account, can i log into said account from multiple devices ? or would that be understood as bot behavior ?
You cannot log in to the same presale (and same show date) with the same account on multiple devices. It will run into multiple errors and result in not being able to check out. If you want to use multiple devices, you would need to use different accounts on each one
thank you so much for your response! i'm getting ready for when my favorite artists drop tour dates and I've been learning a lot from your videos! subscribed now, thanks for all the ticketmaster tips content ! (:
Ticketmaster does not allow guest checkout and normally requires you to log in prior to joining a queue for tickets. If you are going to use 2 devices, do NOT use the same account on both of them. You run the risk of erroring out on one or both devices when attempting to purchase tickets
@@thumbsuprun So should I ask my friend to create an account and get a ticket for me using her device? If so, can I use the ticket that was bought from her account? I am getting so anxious lmao
Yep you can ask your friend to create an account and try to purchase from her account as well. And then if she secures them, she can simply transfer the ticket to you from her account to yours. Ezpz!
I wanna once again thank you for your help! I have another question and it may seem kind of stupid, but what happens if you're using your phone, and waiting in the queue and someone calls you? Will it affect your position in the queue and put you at the end, even if you don't answer it?
So long as the app stays active or if you’re using the mobile browser that the webpage doesn’t end up closing down/refreshing, you’ll be fine. So if you get a phone call, you shouldn’t lose your place in line normally. If you do need to take the call though, just have the call in the background and get your phone screen back to the Ticketmaster queue so that you can keep it going while also being on the phone 😄📱
You sure can, though depending on the team, they may cancel your seats if you are determined to be a broker. Some teams are more broker friendly than others. Best place to buy them is directly from the team themselves, or if you have any contacts of season seat owners you could buy tickets off them directly and resell those
I have a special code for a ticket- presale due to a canceled concert. It only works on one account.can I use that account on multiple devices or should I stick to one device??
You cannot use that account on multiple devices as this will create errors for you and you won’t be able to check out/buy tickets. Stick to one device for your own good 😁
@@thumbsuprun any advice on what days you have a better chance of getting tickets for? Like for example if concert is 4 days would day 2 & 3 be better chances of getting tickets? I know lots of people like to aim for the last days especially for BTS
If there are multiple dates, you’d want to avoid weekends. Saturdays will be the hardest to secure, followed by Friday, then Sunday then Monday. After that, all weekdays are essentially the same
Ticketmaster does not have a guest checkout option. For most presales and general sales at this point, they all have implemented a login process before being able to join the waiting room. For Verified Fan presales, 100% of the time you need to log in before you can join the waiting room. I would say they have basically phased out most of the non login waiting rooms by now
silly question, but to open up two different ticketmaster accounts, should i use my same name and address or change it up a little? i do have two phones so i can use two different phone numbers. and i can use different charge cards. please advise. thank you so much.
I’d make some minor changes. Change Drive to dr, if you live in a single family home and not an apartment, maybe can add in a unit number. For name, could go from John Smith to John S. would also use the different phone numbers and cards for each account
@@thumbsuprun i've got a presale code for bon jovi tomorrow. how does ticketmaster know i have a presale code? do i enter it in somewhere "before" the queue starts? thanks again?
For presale codes, you will enter them after you get through the queue. Once you get into the ticket purchasing page, you’ll enter your code in at that time. There will be a text box to do so
It cannot be used for the exact same event unless you don’t need to log in. It can be used for multiple events though that are going on sale at the same time. For VF presales, you should not be using this for the same event either.
They may notice it once your first purchase has gone through. At that point, you risk having the second order cancelled, or they may have linked the two accounts and it will come back with an error saying you are over the ticket limit
hi!! i have a question. if im doing the verified fan presale and i want to try for more than one date, can i join a queue on the ticketmaster app and use the website for a different date (but logged into the same acc on both the app and website)
You can, but using one device is the preferred way of doing it for BTS. If you can only use a phone, just be very careful that you switch between the app and mobile browser often to make sure neither randomly shut down on you. Also, your code is good for 4 tickets total, so remember that you cannot go over your total ticket limit without risking getting your order cancelled
Really really helpful video. I have a question. I have a unique presale code from a band’s website which I received as a fan club member. If I log in on multiple devices with different Ticketmaster accounts, can I then use that presale code on whichever one gets to the front of the queue first? Since the code is tied to my fan club account instead of my Ticketmaster account, can I use it with any Ticketmaster account without issue? What if for some reason one device can’t complete the purchase and I have to switch to another? If I re-enter the same code on a second account will Ticketmaster flag that as bot-like activity? I hope you see this because my sale is in 14 hours. So nervous! 😬
ahh!! I was too late 😭😭 generally speaking the code can be entered on any Ticketmaster account no problem, but it depends if it is a unique or generic presale code. generic ones won’t be an issue no matter what, but unique codes will stop working once you check out, even if you attempt to finalize the purchase and it fails during checkout. so always best to try and be very selective once you get through the checkout process. but to answer your original question, shouldn’t matter which account you use the code on (whichever gets through first). hope you were able to get tickets!!!
If it crashes, you can try to wait a bit to see if it’ll auto refresh but chances are you’ll lose your spot if you haven’t got through the waiting room and queue yet. Give it a few moments, if nothing though, just refresh away
When you are in the waiting run and get a number, is everything at that point sequential? Meaning no more panic as I know I will get something or are they just rate limiting the intake then a free for all? Thx
It’s all sequential once you’re assigned a spot. They do limit the number of people through at a time, so when you join it’ll be you and probably a hundred ish others at once, but it won’t be an insanely crazy free for all
For the BTS presales specifically, it seems that using one device and having two tabs open is the preferred method for getting tickets to more than one show at the same time. If you want to buy tickets to 2 shows, use one device (laptop preferably to have easier ways to manage your tabs). If you are going to use multiple accounts, then yes you want to use two different devices. Same WiFi connection should be fine if it’s all you can use, otherwise would be better to use mobile device with data and laptop with WiFi
If you use two different credit card payments for separate Ticketmaster accounts but the cards are under the same name/address will that seem like bot activity?
It won’t be an issue for that, but it could be a potential issue with ticket limits. Stay tuned to my video coming out tomorrow which discusses the risks associated with accounts that have the same information. Basically, if there’s a way for Ticketmaster to tie those two accounts together and they buy tickets for the same event, just have to make sure that combined, they don’t exceed the specific event ticket limit
Nope, unfortunately not. This is designed for normal presales only. The Verified Fan presale system allows for only one login. If you attempt to log in from two or more devices, it’ll error out and you will not be able to complete your ticket purchase. Don’t do it for Verified Fan! 🙅🏽♂️
What if I only registered for the verified fan on one mobile device and I didn't get it for my computer in time? Do I use my same login for my computer or am I stuck with just using my phone?
So even though my phone is signed up for for the verified fan, I would still have to log in with a different account that is not registered? This is my first time with the verified fan pre sales.
Hello Is there another platform where I can contact you personally? Been watching a lot of your vids and I wanna start reselling as well I’m just turned 17
Hii, my question is not about the waiting room but If ticketmaster really prioritizes 2 tickets purchase, like....Would I have more chance of getting first row if going for 2 tickets instead of only 1? I've a special code for a presale, last time I went for 2 tickets and got the VIP section I wanted but this time I want first row so I dont know if I should go for 1 or 2 tickets to increase my chance of getting it, going for only 1 ticket should be easier but I saw people saying that ticketmaster algoritmo prefers 2 tickets purchase, so I'm in doubt of what to do to increase my chances
Ticketmaster will always default you to search for 2 tickets so there’s always a preference to sell those together. However, I would actually suggest going for the single seat if you are comfortable going on your own. I find that time is on your side when you are selecting individual seats and are looking for the smallest amount of tickets possible. Each second can be the difference between carting seats or not, so 1 seat odds would work out better than a pair. Regardless of how many you want to buy though, it’ll be tough regardless since there are so few seats available front row. Best of luck!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Hi, first you are doing God's work. I have a question. My event has two days and they go on sale the same day. Using the same account, do I have to use two different devices for each day or it has to be different networks as well? And also, would it be too risky for a verified fan pre sale? Thanks in advance.
For Verified Fan presales, you cannot use multiple devices. The issue is that you’re forced to log in before joining the waiting room. For normal presales and regular sale, you can go ahead and use multiple devices but even then you should avoid using the same account credentials for both if possible
@@thumbsuprun Thank you for taking the time to do this. I know you are reciving repetitive questions. I want to be as informed as I can and you have been relly helpful.
Not a problem! Everyone is at different stages when buying tickets so it’s important to address as many questions as I can. Hopefully some of my new videos in the works will address even more of them that come up 😄
LOL. I don’t like using public WiFi only if I can avoid it because there could be others also trying to do the same thing as you, could become a potential issue with too many access requests coming from the same location. However, if it’s the only option you got then I would say go for it. If there’s a way to put some of the devices on their own data network I’d say try that instead of all of them connected to the same WiFi network.
@@thumbsuprun ah ok thank you for answering! I thought of another question within the last two hours lol. If I'm using my phone can I be using both the app and my safari browser or can I only use one? If I can only use one, between the app on the phone and my browser, which is better in your opinion?
I wouldn’t use both the app and mobile browser because it could create issues when Ticketmaster is trying to track where you are accessing your account. Use mobile browser instead and have your tabs running that way
Hi, I have a quick question - if I use one laptop and one phone can I be loggen in on the same account? I want to buy a ticket for my friend and I so she'll be in school and I only have one paypal account So is it safe to be logged onto the same account from 2 different devices
Not safe to be logged in from two devices with the same account 😭 will result in errors across the board. Try to have two different accounts being used if possible, otherwise stick to one device and hope for a good queue spot 🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@thumbsuprun okay thanks! Sorry but one more question: I only have one paypal account. Should I create anotjer profile using the same name but a different e-mail (my phone number would also be the same) so I can have two profiles with same names but different e-mails?
You can, but if the same phone number is on both accounts, you will not be able to join the queue for the SAME event with both accounts at the same time. If you are able to use two different phone numbers, then just make sure you don’t exceed the ticket limits when purchasing as your PayPal account will link the second account to the first as you finish the purchase process. So if ticket limit is 4 and you bought 4 tickets on account 1 already, you’ll likely be given a warning saying you’ll exceed the ticket limit if you try to checkout on account 2 with the same PayPal info
Is this useful for verified fan presale? There’s a wait room for that presale right? But in order to get in, you need a code, so the account you’re using must have received a code. So... should I register different accounts for the code, and the account that gets verified is the one I use for the presale (with its code), correct? Is multiple devices helpful for verified fan presale ? That’s my question😅 sorry
Haha a fair question. The use of multiple devices is NOT recommended for Verified Fan presales because you are required to sign in to the verified account. If you attempt to use more than one device to access the presale you’ll run into errors and likely result in not being able to check out and buy tickets. Don’t do it! 🤣 it’s only recommended for standard presales and general sales
The waiting room is where you go before tickets go on sale. It’s just a holding area that you need to go through the login process for. The actual queue is when you get placed in line and are then able to buy tickets once you get through. You get a queue number and then once it’s up, it’s your turn to buy!
Alright so, if I use separate devices with a separate account each for GENERAL SALE do each of the devices need to be connected to a different network? I’ve seen many people use the same network with this method that’s why I ask...
Hey! Can I hide my IP Address, so I can use multiple accounts? Or is this even worse than just Using the same Connection? Is it bad If the Billing Addresse is the Same on all Accounts? Do I even need to give Ticketmaster information about payment or can I Just Check Out With PayPal?
Definitely don’t mask/hide your IP, just has the potential to create more issues than you’re looking to avoid. You want to appear like a real fan, not someone trying to hide 😂 You don’t need to have billing info in the account until you finally do check out, but using PayPal would still have a billing address and payment method attached to the account regardless. In terms of having the same info on multiple accounts, it’s more a risk of accounts being linked instead of being a major problem. Just means if they link accounts that you won’t be able to go over the ticket limit once you buy tickets using a code. Clear? 😆 please follow up if anything is amiss
@@thumbsuprun Thank You! My plan was to make my family sign up, so we have a better chance of getting the presale Code:) does it make a difference If I sign up for presale at different Locations, with different Connections? Thank You for answering! You are a Hero!
Ah I get what you mean then. So what I would tell people is to think like an individual. If I were to sign up for a presale from home, I’d then just do it. And if I had a friend, they would do it as well from their own place. If you all lived together, you’d likely all register from home or wherever you are. Should be fine if everyone were to sign up from the same location/IP, but I like to keep everything separate if you can. So if you can sign up family members using their own data on their phone, that would be recommended over the same WiFi at home. Hope that helps! 🤞🏽🎟

VPNs could work but many have been blocked by Ticketmaster. If you found a clean one, there is potential but it’s a constant race looking for new fresh IPs before they get shut down
🤣 using multiple devices is still a way to go, but it’s a lot more difficult for sure. You can’t be using multiple devices with the same login info. They need to be separate accounts using their own WiFi/data and no crossover of any information. It can still be done! 😃

I’d make some minor changes. Change Drive to dr, if you live in a single family home and not an apartment, maybe can add in a unit number. For name, could go from John Smith to John S. would also use the different phone numbers and cards for each account
@@thumbsuprun thanks so much
@@thumbsuprun i've got a presale code for bon jovi tomorrow. how does ticketmaster know i have a presale code? do i enter it in somewhere "before" the queue starts? thanks again?
For presale codes, you will enter them after you get through the queue. Once you get into the ticket purchasing page, you’ll enter your code in at that time. There will be a text box to do so
@@thumbsuprun you are awesome!
Can this all be done on the same account??
It cannot be used for the exact same event unless you don’t need to log in. It can be used for multiple events though that are going on sale at the same time. For VF presales, you should not be using this for the same event either.
So if I were to use multiple accounts on different devices, would Ticketmaster notice the same card info/name is being used?
@@thumbsuprun Thanks so much for the reply. I used the code on the first account to get through and got the tickets!! 🎉
Love to hear it!! Enjoyyyyy
If Ticketmaster crashes shluld I refresh or stay on the error page?
If it crashes, you can try to wait a bit to see if it’ll auto refresh but chances are you’ll lose your spot if you haven’t got through the waiting room and queue yet. Give it a few moments, if nothing though, just refresh away
When you are in the waiting run and get a number, is everything at that point sequential? Meaning no more panic as I know I will get something or are they just rate limiting the intake then a free for all? Thx
It’s all sequential once you’re assigned a spot. They do limit the number of people through at a time, so when you join it’ll be you and probably a hundred ish others at once, but it won’t be an insanely crazy free for all
So using 2 phones vs 1 phone and 1 laptop is better? Thank you sm for the video! And also would two devices under one wifi connection be ok?
Basically, if there’s a way for Ticketmaster to tie those two accounts together and they buy tickets for the same event, just have to make sure that combined, they don’t exceed the specific event ticket limit
will this work with the verified fan system?
Nope, unfortunately not. This is designed for normal presales only. The Verified Fan presale system allows for only one login. If you attempt to log in from two or more devices, it’ll error out and you will not be able to complete your ticket purchase. Don’t do it for Verified Fan! 🙅🏽♂️
What if I only registered for the verified fan on one mobile device and I didn't get it for my computer in time? Do I use my same login for my computer or am I stuck with just using my phone?
You can use any device you want if you get a code. Doesn’t have to be on the device you signed up for 😄
So even though my phone is signed up for for the verified fan, I would still have to log in with a different account that is not registered?
Hopefully some of my new videos in the works will address even more of them that come up 😄
i’m planning on going to starbucks or dunkin w my 5 devices 💀💀 will that be fine
No, because if somebody is trying to buy the tickets as well you will be kicked out. Ticketmaster told some army about that it’s scary now.
@@jungkookseagull990 For the bts concert ticket sale, they won't allow people to use public WiFi
Blossom well ticket master just said yes but the time they said no so idk. I’ve read it on twt .
@@jungkookseagull990 oh... Idk, but I won't use public WiFi just incase, but it is unfair since not everyone's WiFi is fast enough
Does ticketmaster boot you out if you're using the same card on these accounts as well?
It won’t boot you out but it may give you an error saying you’ve already reached the ticket buying limit when trying to check out
@@thumbsuprun ah ok thank you for answering!
Use mobile browser instead and have your tabs running that way
@@thumbsuprun ok thank you so much!!
Hi, I have a quick question - if I use one laptop and one phone can I be loggen in on the same account?
I want to buy a ticket for my friend and I so she'll be in school and I only have one paypal account
So is it safe to be logged onto the same account from 2 different devices
🤣 it’s only recommended for standard presales and general sales
ok! thank you!
what’s the difference with the waiting room and the smart queue? I’m mixing those up
The waiting room is where you go before tickets go on sale.
Great shirt!
Aha thank you thank you 😄🙌🏽
Nice job bro
Your turn next!
You want to appear like a real fan, not someone trying to hide 😂
You don’t need to have billing info in the account until you finally do check out, but using PayPal would still have a billing address and payment method attached to the account regardless.
@@thumbsuprun yes! That helps a lot:) Thank You! Keep up the good Work!
i'm going to use my laptop on my wifi and my phone on data with the same acct b\c i have a presale code...Is that ok? btw thank you so so much...I think 90% of army is here for BTS and we need all the help that we can get.
I think that’s a good plan ☺️ let me know how it turns out!
With the account, you can only be signed into one device, but you can use multiple tabs (one tab per show) on that one device
@@thumbsuprun it didn't work. i couldn't get in on my phone. When i clicked the link that came with my precode i received access blocked. if i just tried to browse for tickets during presale day without a code i received access blocked. in the end i used my laptop and got SC silver package so all worked out but i could only use 1 device. alot of ppl were getting msgs that they were logged in on another device. looks like they weren't playing around abt the 1 device rule. it seems that you needed a seperate acct which meant two membership fees and seperate emails so yeah. This was for the BTS presale which happened on FEB 5-6
Wouldn't using a vpn by pass all that
VPNs could work but many have been blocked by Ticketmaster. If you found a clean one, there is potential but it’s a constant race looking for new fresh IPs before they get shut down
6:40 + every device needs own phone number 7:20
Well these tips didn't last long, LOL
🤣 using multiple devices is still a way to go, but it’s a lot more difficult for sure. You can’t be using multiple devices with the same login info. They need to be separate accounts using their own WiFi/data and no crossover of any information. It can still be done! 😃
