Shelley’s not comfortable on camera so I doubt we will see that but there have been videos introducing everyone else Shelley does wave in the video about the 30 day move tho

Even before you mentioned Ocean, I was thinking of a beach as a sister soap.
Maybe use the In-The-Pot Swirl for the bottom layer with the blues for the water and then a sparkly golden layer (All the SPARKLES!) on top for the sand. Maybe some whitish-blue for clouds as the Icing and then an Umbrella (if possible) or a Seagull imbed on top? ... or a Beach Ball imbed might work too.

A red, white, & blue “Rocket Pop” soap, an ocean themed soap with beach ball imbeds, a red & white striped “beach umbrella” soap, or an actual large seashell soap would be awesome.
I was also thinking a seashell soap, but the rocket pop is a better idea in my opinion. I also like the idea of beach ball embedded in the soap itself.

QOTD: going off of my last comment of how a month’s theme could be “Delightfully Tacky”, how about a Hawaiian Shirt/Tiki soap bar? Plumeria purple bottom with a wood-grain like swirl of browns on top, frosted with electric blue/teal, topped with surfboard embed. Scent would be more sea salt and floral, maybe a hint of coffee or coconut?

BOMB POPS! imo there’s nothing more summer-y than a bomb pop. And I think the red white and blue soap would look really good paired with this one. Similar vibes to your blue slushie soap but with a little more red.

My neighbor is known as "the flamingo lady" she's amazing and we all love her, and her flamingos that are in her yard here in Idaho year round! Lol
When I was a kid my mom used to slather us in this sunscreen that smelled like a mix of bananas and coconuts and this smell always reminds me of summer. Maybe that would be a fun pair, banana coconut, pool water blue with a floatie embed hahaha

Just imagine- coconut by the bay. White (for the coconut), then a mica line of brown or gold (for the husk), and then a blue in the pot swirl on top (for the ocean) and then blue swirl for the frosting. You could have little coconut in beds on top!
I'm 99% certain you meant to say "imbeds" but now I'm picturing a soap with tiny little coconuts in tiny little beds on it😁
You know what would be a cool trend to do with soap that I've seen people doing with make up recently? Something like "Soap throughout the decades." Choose a few different decades (starting from the beginnings of soap making to current day, as well as a few decades in between) and see how different they look! I think it would make a cool collection.

Pool party! Blues and whites and lots of glitter, with a beach umbrella embed! Scented like the ocean and tropical punch.
Here's some ideas to go with it: Summer Cocktail Soap (Like, a Malibu Cocktail soap), Hawaiian Sunset Soap, Blue Beach Soap (you don't have to use these names) ....

A Pool Side Drink (maybe even a beach towel pool side look. Ooh! a long soap curl that looks like a rolled towel would be a cute topper and maybe a little umbrella to get the scene going) would be an amazing accompanying soap! It kind of goes with the Florida Summer front yard look.

Ocean and palm trees! Seashell on top and palm tree stamp. So very similar aesthetic to this soap, just with blues and greens 🌴🌊
Companion soap would have to be either an ocean theme (sand, waves, starfish, sand dollar), or another tropical fruit type, like maybe a mango/strawberry!
I was thinking of a matching sister soap from the beginning!
My idea would be an ocean inspired soap to go along with Florida summer! I think the base should be baby blue on bottom half layer and as frosting. Then do an in the pot swirl with greens and neutrals. Topped off with a palm tree embed and stamped with a seagull or a seashell. Basically they are twins with two different personalities 😂one is pop neon show stopper, the other is a nature loving beach bum 😎

This soap reminds me of sitting by a pool in summer! The perfect sister soap (in my opinion!) would be some sort of blue and white swirl, maybe with a stamp of sunglasses or a beach ball.

Definitely a beach!!! The pink part should be like a sand colour, and the middle layer should be water swirls!!!!! And the embeds on top could be like little umbrellas or beach balls!!!!

For the companion soap, I'd do something pool themed. Maybe a bucket swirl again so there's a visual theme connection as well as a concept theme connection. Plus, I just think a bucket swirl would look a lot like pool water. And then on top, something that looks like a giant swan floatie.
I grew up in Florida, and I definitely connect your flamingos with a pool at home rather than the ocean.

Holy crud!!!!! I saw that picture and thought it was you in your wedding dress or something then saw the discription up in the corner. This is the first time I've seen her in any way. Man y'all are identical. Face, hair color and it looks like even hair texture from at least in that style and the way she cares just like you do. Y'all's parents raised some amazing kids beautiful inside and out.

The other soap could be a boardwalk or sea resort theme? It would allow you to have the blue and still play around with design. Great soap! My granny had pink flamingos in her yard. At one time she had over 50.

An ocean soap to go with it would be adorable!! I love this soap sooo much and a cool ocean one with underwater creatures, sand and pretty blue water would go so well with it.
You need to do a soap that's like those earings and belly button piercing, they were like silicone balls and had a lot of cool neon colors!

Also, as someone with OCD who's REALLY struggling these days (going back out in public after a year of pandemic-induced isolation -- yay?), I want to say thank you so much for your reminders to do something nice for myself. Companion soap Ideas: something in a Caribbean teal with some topical orange or coconut colour maybe, to me, a color combo like that screams summer. Maybe a Hawaiian shirt inspired design! Whatever Katie makes, I'm sure it will be awesome!

I think the perfect companion for this soap would be something like a garden gnome soap! Like a "lawn ornament" set. I'm picturing a garden gnome in swim trunks with a beach ball or a poolside recliner/umbrella vibes. I think it could be so cute and summery

Also yes stan Pink Flamingos! Part of my gift giving tradition with my Godmother, that came from her and her own mother, is to find something pink flamingo be it scarf, magnets, little plushies, earrings, etc. and make it part of the gift!!

Blue skies and Beach Waves! That would be a great sister soap. Have a light blue for the sky and an in the pot swirl with white, blue, and gold for the beach waves/sand. Have a light blue frosted top with a white seashell on top. That would be cool!

For a sister soap, I like the idea of a pool theme ❤️ Something with blues and a pop of pink or yellow from floaties maybe? Or perhaps a drink theme like blueberry lemonade or a dessert like, say, key lime pie or strawberry shortcake. Something very summer-y 💕

The fact that you always get the colors so spot on to the real thing just amazes me. As a graphic designer I just use the eye dropper on the programs to get that spot on color.
I love how Katie says at the beginning of every episode "you don't understand how excited I am for this soap!" THAT is the kind of passion I wish I could have for not only something I could make money from as a job but for my regular hobbies. Seeing that sort of exuberance is SO NICE. I love watching Katie. I think a beach ball soap would super cute! Or maybe a tiki/luau themed one! Or surfing! Complete with a "wave" style frosting (like you do the fire frostings). I think any of those would be super cute, and you could go with blues and/or other complimentary colors to the pink and green-yellow
I live in a beach town and I love it! Winter isn't that warm, but that's because I've acclimated, lol. PALM TREES, they're EVERYWHERE around here!!!

Flamingos make me think of the 80s. I remember a ton of flamingo themed toys & wearable merch in the Circus Circus arcade. But I do remember moustaches, pinapples, & owls being trendy textile prints in the late 2010s.
Flamingos are a lake/lagoon bird. Here on the coast it's all sandpipers, pelicans, gulls, & unfortunately crows.
The sister soap could be a Blue Raspberry Lemonade soap! Almost like you’d be chilling on your porch with that drink in your hand while you admire the pink flamingos in your yard.
