this 3 part series was by far the BEST INFO FILLED IN DETAIL video I've seen on a Deps 250 or really any swimbait and it can be applied to many glide baits! Hope to see some more info filled vids like this on other baits
One secret youins showed but didn't mention... when you hook and rip-retrieve, give your rod tip a lesson on holding its breath under water. This sets a lower horizon point on the rod end and helps keep your new PB from jumping and throwing the bait/ hookset. Very good tute, thanks guys.
Great video as always ,I like the rod you use after using my deps a few times on my Phoenix 8ft swimbait rod,it kinda feels like it’s not enough or I feel like I could be using something better . A video on swim bait tips for bank fishing would be cool
1:30-1:43 This was me the other day fishing a mattlures hammertail trout, was at Diamond Valley Lake in socal and had easily a 9 pounder slowly cruise over to my bait I was not paying attention and lifted it out of the water....the struggle.
I want to throw some..but I am a hardcore finesse guy. It ALL seems GIANT to me. Plus...we have Toothy critters in VA. Several species that will cut off a 7/8' bait in one swipe. Is there one that you would say is the best and won't break the bank? better than 50/50 its gonna get eaten off. LOL
J.L Hoffy pond fishing is base on skill because any dumb ass can catch a fish 🐟 and any fresh water that state parks have are little bit tricky because some giant bass are very picky on what they eat

Do you think color of a deps is important or the action is more important so all colors will get bit?
Scott Strong Manny has said in the past as long as the profile and action is right, the color shouldn’t matter. hope this helps 👍
For u to know and for us to find out...😂😂😂
what Lbs fluoro are you using ?
Good work.
*Catching Bass for Cash*
Didn't know cheese balls took over your channel...
