Don't leave candles on windowsill without being on a dish or tray as can melt and stick and damage the worktop even if not lit. X love the house

Are they any issues the first week and did you get a snagging survey prior to exchanging? Im looking to buy a new build on my own as my first home, so im torn between old and new builds because of issues that may arise 😩
Hey my love yes we have done our snagging list, we highlighted bigger stuff before we moved in and then the smaller stuff you do afterwards, there’s a lot I won’t lie, but it’s all fixable stuff… I’d say both have their pros and cons, this is a lot quicker to be “liveable” in because it’s all new and clean etc. but renovations can be amazing too. It’s all dependent on what suits you at the time, we didn’t have time to renovate as I’m self employed and joe studying - so this was the perfect option for us xx

@@feliciac8828 we did it ourselves but a lot of Joe’s family are in trades (all sorts of them) so we are lucky there x
@@BethanandJoe oh wow, lucky! Cheeky question hope you don’t mind, but if you had no one who’s around you that’s experienced, or if you asked them(his trades family), would they say its safest to get a professional in then? Im doing this all myself so… 😬 pardon my gazillion questions 🙈
@@feliciac8828 honestly yes, I think they notice things that are quite vital that I wouldn’t notice. But I would try asking around as someone might know someone who wouldn’t charge you as much!
