Someone has to remind me to adjust the delay for my audio on these podcasts! Man I’m forgetful…
Jason,
Thank you for another great podcast. I like that technology does not work the best all the time for all of us. It is not nice to work thru the issue live, or while recording here at home.
Ryan is a smooth operator and proud father.
I agree with user cludford on the use of a desktop app. There is a lot of horsepower in these laptops.
Thanks for all the greaat info
Jason, I'd like you hear your take on Elon's new Starlink "Roam" package - their new compact-form-factor, travel-friendly satellite data platform. Very intriguing since data has always been the real bottleneck. Wondering what your take on this is. Even if that data solution was fantastic, I wonder if it's realistic for power consumption.
I have not had the chance to research it yet but as we get to November I look forward to diving in.
Make sure you build a playlist of this so I can relisten when I lay down
I can confirm my portion of each podcast will absolutely put you to sleep.
Nice podcast guys. Thank you for your help! 2 questions for you... 1) Have looked into wireless bridge setups (ex ubiquiti) instead of the slate repeater mode? 2) If you had to start fresh with an outfield camera on a large field, would you select a) core + lens b) 30x NDI PTZ or c) camcorder + NDI box
Sorry a 3rd question ! 3) What camera (+ lens) would you recommend for a behind the plate view on a large field with deep backstop. I suspect my mevo start isn't going to show much when my son moves up to the 60/90 fields next year! Thanks - matt
1) yes, Jared Wheeler put me onto this and I’m hoping to explore it in the fall. 2) As much as I love having a 30xNDI PTZ cam I’d go with the Core. Battery power for the win! 3) If you have a deep backstop the NearStream vm33 will give you what you’re looking for.
