Beware of cliff surfing birds. The Helion is big enough for them to pay attention as you come near but it does happen

Yeah it was incredibly windy and I believe my GoPro wasn't tightened in as much as it should be
Sick vid! Travel logistics question (because i want to go to Iceland too!), how do you get away with traveling with a 115Ah lipo on an airplane? I’ve always kept it under 100Ah because i don’t want my lipos to get taken away by TSA.
I fly with up to 5200mah and have had no problems
its more about watt hours vs ah... and its more about the airlines and not TSA... if you google it it says "airline allow...." 2 batteries up to 160wh TBD by which ones...a 5200ah 6s = 112wh... and anything under 100wh seems to fair game ;) and its not like the airlines check you baggage cuz thats TSAs job but not like their job is verify/enforce airline compliance?

Hey man! You can check my channel for a recent video I made on how I travel. But with my 5200 batteries I got about 10 minutes. With 8000mah liions you can get 30 minutes

Amazing location and flight. But that jello.....I guess its a little reassuring that even the big names in FPV still get jello. Im really frustrated with the helion, it has horrible jello issues. Don't recommend.
Is there any other possibility to land it safe without scratching / damaging Lipo??? So stupid in this construction to put Lipo on the bottom.... ((((

Decent line but way too much jello man… that was definitely NOT the wind, maybe shutter too high on gopro or bad props or poor tuning😕

I noticed quite a lot of rolling shutter artefact (Jello) in your footage which I’ve seen on other Helion videos. Back in the day when I was building drones using the German MK “Mikrokopter” platform way before DJI was around I found that mounting a GoPro in an enclosure full of memory foam did a fantastic job of removing vibrations as long as it wasn’t in freezing conditions. Balancing the props also made a big difference.

Quick question, do you always take off your goggles when landing the quad? How did you manage to quickly shift from first person view to 3rd person view?
I flip it into angle mode so it's easy to control

Nice video but the picture in picture of the Iceland flight doesn't add anything. Takes away if anything. You are just standing there.

Flown my chimera 7 a lot there, it’s Eystrahorn for those wanting to know, part of the Krossanesfjall mountains, 10 minute drive further east of the the famous Vestrahorn mountains.
It’s always full of birds like this, also always very windy.
Do you believe that the Helion 10 flies better or yours please ?

The helion on is definitely next on my list, incredible footage mate, what controller are you using out of curiosity? I still have the DJI controller 2, would it be worth upgrading if I get the helion?
The dangerous thing is that if the video link drops, the FPV controller drops for 2-5 seconds since it piggybacks on the video frequency. You therefore need some kind of failsafe to automatically trigger at RC lockout. Either RTH or hover, depending on location.

It has crossfire diversity and yep stock on the goggles. Furthest out I got with the Helion was 2.5 km so far

Flown Avata & normal camera drones for couple years but yeah this Bob is a whole different level.

Just hotels usually. They're cheap this time of year. And super easy

Hello, great, I don't speak English, I will use a translator. I would like to know if this drone has a better video signal with the DJI Google 2? Since it has longer antennas and they are in a different place, I have a Nazgul Evoque f5 V2 with O3 with dji fpv controller 2 and dji Goggle 2 and the video signal is not very good with these glasses, thank you!!! 👍
You should have great connection with that. Have you crashed the quad? Sometimes the antennas can become damaged
if i recall right if you use the dji controller AND goggles the share the same bandwidth and data feed to send video and rc link... if you switch to an differenet rx/tx protocol like elrs, crossfire etc, you should see a better video feed overall. i use elrs and only have v2 goggles and usually have a solid connection 2miles out easy..
@@Mcgeee it has not received hits, the signal is not bad, but the doubt is if with the Helion is even better video signal with the goggles 2? ,,,,, and I suppose that with those longer antennas and in a different place it should be better since it is made for long range, right?

The goggle feed is DJI O3 - but the RC is Crossfire. Seperate modules installed on the drone @@hassanabbasi4795
