@@ihmesekoilua Which is absolutely NOT a bad thing. TBH, once Hassan went to Jimmie's and came back, I've reeeeeally appreciated his videos that much more. It wasn't just a creator to creator meet up, obviously, and Habu took away much more than just an interview (as it was framed)...but Habu has always been a man if few words, so this totally on brand for him. But seriously, how many sprinter van conversion videos are out there that that 1.5yrs, and 149 episodes...fuk! Always loved Hassan, and this one just proves why. He's selfless, and maybe a bit embarrassed to share every single second? Not sure, don't care. Love the content the way it is. Never change bro (unless, y'kno....maybe get away from the fossils and electrify that beast with solar, batteries, wind, hydro in nearby rivers, etc. Off-grid via fossil fuel only lasts so long ;))

@@ihmesekoilua ya man, Hassan came to the US, toured Jimmy's shop, did a few interviews, played with some new tech and went home. It seemed at the time like maybe a 3 day trip/visit, so I'm sure JD gave HA some tips/Trix to grow the channel

Great work, very professional! Also the video is outstanding! Hopefully the engine last. But it should be no big deal to change the T5 to another one...
I was he'll bent on a t5, till I found out about the cfca engine failures and the cost to replace them. I ended up selling my 2015 skoda octavia and buying a 2010 2.9lt turbo diesel grand carnival (sedona) platinum. Love the van and it meets me and my family's daily driver and adventure needs. If the t5's were more reliable, it would have been my next vehicle. Great design, but poor delivery.
@@rickyp4008 I don't want to offend you, but I think you didn't research very well. Yes the CFCA indeed has problems, but they can be adressed fairly easily. This isnt common knowledge and requires a certain level of expertise in order to know which engine can be saved or not. Furthermore the 1.9 and 2.0 TDI CR engine have proven to be very reliable. This applies to the 2.5 as well, if it's maintained well. Speaking of maintenance, that's where things really start to get bad. Most T5s, especially the Transporters, simply aren't maintained very well at all. Oil changes every 30.000km don't help with the longevity of those machines.
With that being sad, it's no wonder people are thinking the way you are. Where in fact, in many cases it's the customers fault, for not taking care of their care enough. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one that hasn't been neglected completely, you are up for a good ride! I am happy that you found a car that suits your needs and expectations though!!
