Today, 60 years ago the world lost one of the greatest voices ever. Jim Reeves died in a plane crash on July 31st, 1964. It was a sad day for country music and yes the world over. His voice still resonates in many a home.
Here is my humble tribute to that amazing voice, a cover version of one of Jim's greatest songs.
A special "Thank you" to Larry Jordan for taking precious time (over a decade) and writing the wonderful book on Gentleman Jim. Larry Jordan’s work "JIM REEVES HIS UNTOLD STORY" brings us up, close and personal with the life and times of Jim Reeves.
