I enjoyed this. Around 2005-2007, my wife and I would drive from Phoenix to San Diego, staying at the Doubletree Mission Valley because they had a great indoor pool and light rail station. We visited San Diego Zoo, Sea World, took the bay ferry, and would devote a day to legoland in Carlsbad. We would the following day surprise my daughter who would think we were driving her home, by taking I-5 up to Disneyland/California Adventure, which would surprise her as soon as we pointed out the 'Tower of Terror'. We'd spend the day there, then drive back to San Diego, then home to Phoenix the next day. Of all the theme parks, we liked Legoland for its clean facilities and guest service. When all the rides had closed, the operators of the wild mouse coaster let my daughter and I stay as the last guests and let us ride thru it a few extra times, all by ourselves, while my wife waited by the park exit with warm hot chocolate for us. I liked your video because you presented yourselves as very kind and patient parents, which brings back such fond memories of me, my wife, and now 23 yo daughter who could have owned stock in California's and Florida's theme parks, and Oahu's attractions. I found giving my child small birthday and holiday gifts provided us the better choice, vacations, as my wife and I also exchanged small but meaningful presents to save for our vacations.
Thank you for another very informative video! My husband and I were like “we probably won’t go to Phoenix for a weekend trip” but I’m sold!!! You should tell LEGOLAND that you deserve to get compensated for your contribution!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Any hotel/restaurant recommendations in the area?
We just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express halfway between LEGOLAND Discovery Center and the Phoenix Zoo. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to both places. Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
That Lego Discovery Center was so cool and it looked like fun too. I kinda liked it better than the aquarium. And exciting news for the Oregon Zoo, a baby Orangutan was born 2 days ago. They just announced today. So cute and the first time mother Kitra is doing so good with baby. I'm so excited. Are Zoo rarely has any babies. I'm excited for your Zoo vlog. 😊

as a arizona resident,ive never been here! but the sea life aquarium is pretty cool and more my speed cause im 19,but i do reccomend if you guys ever come back checking out odysea aquarium! and butterfly wonderland,definetley not san diego zoo or seaworld level,but both fun in there own ways!
We didn’t learn about the Odysea until we were on our trip and by then we already had plans and tickets to everywhere else we recorded. But we will be back and Odysea as well as the Wildlife World Zoo are on our list to visit.
We were there for about 3 hours or so. Could have spent longer, except that we wanted to do the aquarium next door in the same day. We still felt pretty well accomplished with it in those three hours. We just didn’t get to watch a 4D movie and we wanted to ride the main shooting ride again. But that maybe would have added 45 minutes tops?

How long would you say it took you to complete the whole center? Is it an all day thing? I want to surprise my son’s for his birthday 🤗
