- I apologize for having to record this with a video camera, but I just bought the durarara dvd online because I saw that nobody put the episodes online yet xD So... Well, here ya go. Don't complain.
Every time I hear him say that the humans he loves should love him too, I think to myself, "If only he knew."

I just randomly thought of how Izaya's voice actor is the green power ranger and how in episode 7, when Shizuo is trying to get a job, he picks up the green power ranger when he gets pissed off. They totally planned that shit.

I honestly was so excited... I screamed. xDD Him, Crispin Freeman, Steve Blum?! SO MUCH AWESOMENESS.
Japanese and English were both awesome, I remember when I discovered Durarara when episode 3 JUST came out subbed, so I would know what it's like to treasure Hiroshi Kamiya's voice as Izaya, but come on. Let it go. >.> I am so happy Johnny voiced Izaya. Not only is he my favorite English VA, but he did a really good job with it. :D
To all you people who claim to be "amazed" at a good English dub, you really need to start watching more, because there ARE a ton of great ones out there. If you would stop being so close-minded and give them all a chance, then maybe you'll realize that not all dubs are bad. There's more excellent ones than shitty ones, I'm telling you.
Anyway, Johnny once again never ceases to amaze me. He makes such an awesome Izaya, and he's sounds like Sasori. I love it.

Exactly. A bad anime in its original Japanese form is DBZ, IMO. Yet, I see people praising that like it's the best thing ever. Hell, when Japan dubs over our stuff, I hear no one complaining at how bad it is. Talk about being biased.

I don't know... JYB's voice is too solid for Izzy IMO, I'd imagined him with a "sicker" sounding name, more fitting to a crazy person. There is Lelouch where that voice worked, but he's not crazy, and I also keep remembering Ichigo now.
