Thank you Claire. I'd never heard of this physician, now I have. 😁 Very informative, very enjoyable, very interesting. I love all things Tudor, thanks again x.

This was very interesting. I often wondered about the people who moved around from Catholic countries to England.

Thank you, Claire! I've been enjoying the videos on people usually not mentioned in Tudor history. Balthasar Guercy is another survivor of the shifting sands of Tudor religious dictates and politics.

Thank you Claire, always nice to hear of someone managing to escape a death sentence from dear King Henry. This story reminds me of the poem by Bertold Brecht, A Worker Reads History, there’s so much more to it especially those we often don’t get to hear about.

I feel like henry had so many people arrested and or killed. Especially people he once loved..

Thank you for these vids, Claire. Very interesting.
Are you an Oxfordian or Stratfordian?

I'm from near Stratford, but do you mean am I Oxfordian or Shakespearean in my views on the authorship question?

@anneboleynfiles Yes. Authorship question. I'm Oxfordian.

@mancroft I haven't found any of the other authorship arguments convincing.

Thank you , Claire. I hadn't heard of this interesting person before. He certainly had friends in high places, though. Luckily for him.

Hi Claire! Good video as always. One of those unsung people is Kat Ashley who seems to have given her life to Elizabeth I. Thanks again for the video ~~ here's hoping for a great year for you and yours!
