Denver winning the finals is a gift to true basketball fans. Finally the superteam era is over and we’ll begin to see more of this brand of basketball and franchise building. As opposed to jumping from team to team to ring chase. Giannis kicked off with the Bucks in 2021, returning champions in GSW 2022, and now Denver 2023. This is how you’re supposed to win championships and much more satisfying
The superteam era ended when Kawhi and the Raptors beat the Warriors back in 19
It ended when the Raptors won in 2019.

That was a good question by Isiah. The Nuggets are a rugged team, very tough mentally. Joker was robbed of the MVP this year but he's continuing with his game and not bitching and moaning. Murray suffered one of the worst injuries a player can have but he didn't break. KCP inexplicably got traded by the Lakers and bounced around a bit but here he is helping Denver thrive. Bruce Brown was very good at times for the Nets but never got the respect he deserves. Gordon too has suffered setbacks, Slam Dunk competition 🤦♂️ but he's worked on himself and improved his overall game. Even MPJ with all the niggling injuries and questions about ceiling seems to have bought into the grinding aspect of the game, working hard not for your but for the collective. Actually the Heat are like this too but the biggest difference is that most of the Heat's guys are punching above their weight and it is showing now. Many Miami guys were undrafted and many of the Denver guys were lottery picks.

The big difference now in these Finals is the level of talent both teams have. The Nuggets are just big and better but I can see a Heat team with a Damian Lillard being a big problem next year.

This is the best and worst finals for me. I really want Denver to prove the talking heads wrong and win their very first championship. Joker is my favorite player too. what game did you watch... 0 turnovers 1 foul in 43 mins with 12 assists. He made heaps of winning plays in the second halve, he didn't takeover the scoring as mami were blitzing him. The three of the back screen. Drove, drew three defenders, kicked to Jeff green for the three. There was a drive on the left side where Murray set the screen, threw of the defenders leading to brown free throws. The drive and floater pass to AG. Even getting off the ball when brown was cooking is making the right play.... You also realise Joker was on the bench for 4 or 5 mins in the 4th
