    I do have a feeling that with the way the NBA is heading going after these super tall (6'10-7'5) players that can do it all. It will get to the point that having a player who is 6'3 will be seen as and advantage and the league will go back to small ball. It will be this never ending pendulum between having a team of short players and tall players

      @yoRyann27 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@Poisonous_Plants15 Nobody except the fans of the specific teams in the Finals wants a short, winning series for their team. Everybody else thought the Finals was underwhelming as hell. Mavericks had no business being there. Celtics were too dominant they intentionally gave a gentleman's sweep just so they could win at home.

    • @NaruBrilu
      @NaruBrilu 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      @@yoRyann27they did not have "absolutely no business being there" lol. They beat Clipper, Okc and Minnesota who they were all underdogs for every series. Was just a bad matchup for them. Which is what a lot of basketball playoffs end up being at the end of the day. Wolves were a better matchup against Denver, but then the Mavs were a better matchup against Minnesota.
      Also can we stop with that bs narrative of they let them win one. No team, especially at this high of a level, is going to "let" the opposing team win. Mavs just played better that game and held Boston off defensively more than Boston did to them

    I think this year will be a lot more interesting; the West has been really competitive, a different finalist in the last 5 years whereas in the East its only been Boston and Miami. With Knicks acquiring Bridges and Philly getting PG, it'll give Boston more to worry about but i still see Boston coming out.

    Paul does not push them into a championship level team. They r definitely waay better as a team, than last yr, with him on there. But only having 2 stars is not gonna get u far especially considering one is old and past his prime and the other is young and still growing into the league.
    I feel like this is more of a move to get a really good Vet to teach the other players how to play with Wemby and also teach/help Wemby too. Obviously it's probably gonna b lob city 2.0 for Paul again lol

      Ya i think it's such a weird pickup. Arguably makes the team worse. Like ya, he's a great shooter and that's definitely what Dallas was lacking in the Finals. But like.. Klay is not as good as he used to be. Even tho he was a good 2 way player too, his defense has also gotten worse bcuz of injuries etc. Now in your starting 5 you have 3 defensive liabilities that the opposing team can exploit. Luka has gotten better at defense but it's still not great

    Wasn't Bronny a McDonalds All-American before he had his cardiac arrest? He was projected to go in the first round but the medical issues held him back. He was a mcdonalds all American because he’s Lebron son. And the fact that he’s undersized and a pro athlete that suffered cardiac arrest would only diminish his chances of being successful. There are thousands of players across the nation that work hard and don’t get drafted. It’s ok to admit the lakers drafted him to keep Lebron happy it’s ok
