Ya same it's weird. It's like ohh... i actually know more about this than you lol. Surprised at the Paul with the Spurs r gonna b championship level tho, like disagree. They'll definitely be better than last yr, but they aren't gonna b championship level
@@NaruBrilui kinda believe they can be lowkey contenders tho, they finally got someone that's gonna throw the ball to wemby for once 😂 and vassell is lowkey a killer alongside keldon johnson. They gone be way better for sure tho.
I do have a feeling that with the way the NBA is heading going after these super tall (6'10-7'5) players that can do it all. It will get to the point that having a player who is 6'3 will be seen as and advantage and the league will go back to small ball. It will be this never ending pendulum between having a team of short players and tall players
@@Poisonous_Plants15 Nobody except the fans of the specific teams in the Finals wants a short, winning series for their team. Everybody else thought the Finals was underwhelming as hell. Mavericks had no business being there. Celtics were too dominant they intentionally gave a gentleman's sweep just so they could win at home.
@@yoRyann27they did not have "absolutely no business being there" lol. They beat Clipper, Okc and Minnesota who they were all underdogs for every series. Was just a bad matchup for them. Which is what a lot of basketball playoffs end up being at the end of the day. Wolves were a better matchup against Denver, but then the Mavs were a better matchup against Minnesota. Also can we stop with that bs narrative of they let them win one. No team, especially at this high of a level, is going to "let" the opposing team win. Mavs just played better that game and held Boston off defensively more than Boston did to them
I think this year will be a lot more interesting; the West has been really competitive, a different finalist in the last 5 years whereas in the East its only been Boston and Miami. With Knicks acquiring Bridges and Philly getting PG, it'll give Boston more to worry about but i still see Boston coming out.
The only time height will become a disadvantage in basketball is if players become taller than the ring itself. Until that point a taller person with the same skills as someone shorter than them, will always be more valuable.
He’s gonna be too slow for the nba, the centres of todays league are able to bring the ball up the court and pick and pop from 3, he will need to work on his athleticism or he’s gonna get left on the dust, that’s why most tall players are skinnier
if that kid puts on muscle its over for everyone under 6'8 he can move and he's 8 inches taller than Shaq.... AND he's only 18 so he's going to keep growing for a few more years... AND he's only 3 inches under 8ft so he has a real chance at being the first 8 footer in the league AND he has a normal body structure that can actually handle a little more weight so it wont slow him down... that kid has more potential then i've ever seen
Shaq did 1000 calve raises every night to get his legs to support him. And even then after 2 years his foot was wrecked. Had 1 more good year after that and done.
People that think cp3 and wemby aren't a championship level threat didn't know the okc, suns and rockets wouldn't reach the conference finals without him.
no he doesn’t. wemby is ready, it’s just up to the spurs to build a good team around him. he quite literally had the worst collection of talent i’ve ever seen on any team of my 15 years of watching basketball 😭
Paul does not push them into a championship level team. They r definitely waay better as a team, than last yr, with him on there. But only having 2 stars is not gonna get u far especially considering one is old and past his prime and the other is young and still growing into the league. I feel like this is more of a move to get a really good Vet to teach the other players how to play with Wemby and also teach/help Wemby too. Obviously it's probably gonna b lob city 2.0 for Paul again lol
Ya i think it's such a weird pickup. Arguably makes the team worse. Like ya, he's a great shooter and that's definitely what Dallas was lacking in the Finals. But like.. Klay is not as good as he used to be. Even tho he was a good 2 way player too, his defense has also gotten worse bcuz of injuries etc. Now in your starting 5 you have 3 defensive liabilities that the opposing team can exploit. Luka has gotten better at defense but it's still not great
Wasn't Bronny a McDonalds All-American before he had his cardiac arrest? He was projected to go in the first round but the medical issues held him back. He's actually better than where he was drafted. To say he only got drafted because of Lebron is a little disrespectful to the work he's put in.
He was a mcdonalds all American because he’s Lebron son. And the fact that he’s undersized and a pro athlete that suffered cardiac arrest would only diminish his chances of being successful. There are thousands of players across the nation that work hard and don’t get drafted. It’s ok to admit the lakers drafted him to keep Lebron happy it’s ok
He wouldnt have been an all american with another name and that was before he shit the bed at college. hte guy drafted 1 spot behind him has double the points at better efficiency for example.

Josh Jackson, Jonny Flynn played in McDonald's game too lol where are they now?
