    Bit more detail about the project would be nice.

      From the East Suffolk Planning website;
      "Construction of a clay lined winter storage irrigation reservoir.
      A balanced cut and fill earth moving operation is digging the clay from the site and engineering it into an impermeable membrane to line the irrigation reservoir.
      No materials will be brought to or taken from site. The very wide banks have allowed the reservoir to sit very low in the landscape and provide a landscaping benefit to hide the un landscaped banks of the existing reservoir to the south.
      Why is it needed? Langmead Farms have secured 330,000 m3 of winter water abstraction licence from the Environment Agency to allow an expansion of the vegetable and herb growing side of the business.
      This project represents phase 2 of the winter storage required, The Knolls 180,000 m3 reservoir immediately to the south represents Phase 1.
      The infrastructure has been installed to provide a high pressure water main around the farm to supply irrigators in every field. This was installed as part of Phase 1 when The Knolls reservoir, just to the south was constructed."
      Interesting stuff...!
