Yeah and now Uniek is dead and Rising Star has Wobblers disease and who knows if they put him down like others before who had it, like that filly, what was her name, Myrte? I don't watch the channel anymore. The 'surrogate mother' thing was so strange & consciously breeding a mare with Arthritis, knowing it likely will pass on to the foals... And so many dead foals... No, thank you.
While Uniek was doing a dance of happiness, Runaway Lights was calm and collected as she adopted her. So precios in their own ways as they welcomed the little cuties.

Mine ran away from me , and still does. Fortunately i had grandparents who raised me , and now i have my daughter, happily married 25 years and I’ll never understand how could mother abandon her child. 😢❤
The Tremblay family, the owner of the birth mare, will keep Queen! Bogar Farms let Runaway Lights be a foster mare until Queen is fully weaned, about 6-7 months after she was born.
The GoFundMe is for the family who owns the filly. Yes, the mare is now caring for her!!! But, there were several weeks of 24/7 care that she needed to get to this point. A whole team of veterinarians was on call to try to save this filly! The family had to sacrifice so much to pay for all of it.

I think Runaway Lights and Queen Uniek were mares with great capacity for love. Their foals were so lucky to be accepted by their new moms. 😢❤
