I have always liked these but never had the pleasure of owning or riding.. You're quite correct.. its a bit soft, but it can move! Appreciate the comment 😎👍
Thank you sir 😊 I have since improved certain areas of this bike so it’s ‘almost’ at a standard I’m now happy with 😄 Thanks for commenting, much appreciated 👍🏼
I agree, it’s a great bike in my opinion, I have always liked and wanted one.. and they are fairly cheap to buy. Good ones are getting hard to find though. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated 😊👍🏼
Exactly right.. CBR1000F was then developed into the CBR1100 Blackbird. I have previously owned a Blackbird and both are fantastic bikes, and both with that typical Honda quality. 😊👍🏼
I believe that the Blackbird was born of the cbr900rr. This cbr1000 was born of the cbr750, a more rare model. Interestingly, the 900 started off life as a 750 as well, (but only in the planning stages).
@@MrKamechan Incorrect, the blackbird is derived from the same "sport tourer" platform as per the original in the lineup - the 1000F. A big bore, long wheel base, long distance mile eater. The 900rr was a ground up pure sport design of which the 1000rr was raised from following its discontinuation in the early 2000s. Sport tourers are in a different category to the 900rr's pure sport focused algorithm.
@@stevedougherty6370 I should have been more specific. The 1100XX's motor was a development of the 900RR's motor, (-not the 1000F's motor). I understand that the Blackbird was never meant to be a pure sports bike ala the Fireblade....
I had one of these it was blisteringly fast. And a good all around bike

Μοντέλο 1991, το είχα και εγώ πολύ καλό, μετά πήρα cbr900 rr 1992 και μετά το cbr1100xx 1997, άλλη κατάσταση

Is this the bike that the blackbird came from?

@@woooster17 i actually prefer the 1000F over the bird. Have had both. But yep, both are great bikes.

It's interesting that I can't see my original post.
Odd… yours is the first comment? So you posted previously?
Yes... It's becoming a usual thing that I'm experiencing.
It's saying the correct number of comments made yet not displaying them.
I'm being shadow banned.
