If they could be outside getting fresh grass and insects, they would be 100 times more healthy and happy, instead of being kept in that small environment.
as a farmer my self im not against the idea we do raise organic.. but under contract farmers like her cant feed insects to the birds as a matter of fact no farmer would
@@Alienator132 actually those birds look way healthier than pretty much most of the chickens farms in the states. you can tell she spends a lot of time in their with those chickens and they are valuable to her. not like Americans who are lazy and let the chickens die in the houses and rot. yes it would be better for the chickens and the end consumer tfor chickens to see grass and insects but i imagine in Jamaica pasture and grass for grazing is moslty for cattle ranchers and it probably is very expensive being its mostly dense jungle. she doing an awesome job and would love to taste her chicken! im a poultry farmer myself and i know when the product is good!

in indonesia 60 persen cost on poultry is for food.
those are not free range chickens . they are grown in indoors in large sheds.
